Heres to hoping the Eagles go 0-16 this year. :cheersmate:

Well now that's not the team I figured that he would sign with.
-

I'll 2nd that!

He deserves a second chance. He's served his time. As a Giants fan, can't stand the Iggles and do want'em to go 0-16, but it won't have anything to do with Vick.

YAY so much for giving the guy a second chance.
Such good Christian values here.
-
If that guy were in the military, or a cop, or any number of other professions, and he did something like this he would be fired or dishonerably discharged. I hate the way pro-sports lets their guys do horrendous things, then welcomes them back with open arms.
-
I saw his interview on Fox a little while ago.
What he did was horrendously wrong, however he served his time...which is more than many do...he didn't get a slap on the wrist and sent his merry way.
He deserves a 2nd chance.
I hope he is worth it....he won't get a 3rd chance.

Problem with Vick is that if he kept his mouth shut, none of this would happen. Dog fighting encourages other illegal acts like drugs and murder of people involved.
-
I think Philly is going to push Miami for the most plays run out of the wildcat this season. Don't forget they also added Big FB Leonard Weaver who can block, run and catch well. Eagles are going to be dangerous.

The analogy I heard the most was: If Vick was a roofer or a painter and he went to jail when he got out he would still be able to work. Fine, he "did his time" he can have a second chance - as a roofer, or a painter, or a shoe shine guy for all I care - idiots like him should never be put back up on that pedestal of fame where they can influence others.

Sorry you dont get the right to deny someone their ability to make a living doing what they know how to do.
Guy lost millions and 18 months of his life for dog fighting, while we have a senator who killed a women praised left and right for years he has paid his debt.

And he was just awarded the Medal of Freedom.....highest honor US gives to civilians. ::)

One thing's for sure, if he gets open, they ain't catchin' him. That sumbitch is fast. Freakishly fast.

Sorry, I'm not denying him anything, it is my opinion that he be denied re-entrance to the NFL - there should be a Standard of Conduct rule and it should be enforced in cases where there is such extreme disregard for other living beings. The sh*t he did was inexcusable.

I agree.

Yup. I wonder if he still has the same game speed? Probably. One thing's for sure though and that's that the guy is a real threat to pass from the wildcat. (unlike Ronnie Brown et al) I would not want Vick as my #1 QB but he may have a very interesting roll to play. IMHO the NFL is more fun to watch with Vick in it.
For what it's worth I rooted against Vick before all the off the field douchebaggery was known. I'm kinda old school and cheer for the QB to get creamed whenver one leaves the pocket voluntarily. But I like rooting against him and am glad he's back. Like the Cowboys, he's a player I "love to hate".

Those PETA idiots would love to have him as a spokesman against animal cruelty. ....that is, if they're smart. He has a tremendous respect from the black youth community. Let's think about it, aside from this, Vick has done nothing but keep his nose clean. No DUI's, no beating up women, no fights. Hell, the worst thing that have is his Ron Mexico episode and flipping off a few fans for screaming obscenities at him. If that's all they got, they ain't got shit. ...and no, I'm not a Michael Vick fan. I'm a Saints/Giants fan.
