I'm in full active mode on the spring cleaning so I'm kind of here and there...more of there. We should be contracting to get the basement fixed sometime this week as tax refunds and bonuses roll in ::)
Not much else to report, I shall be organizing away today.
TOTD: Spring is approaching...what is the first thing, for those in colder climates I suppose, you are looking forward to doing with a nice, moderate full spring day.

I think I've caught whatever crud Frank was speading around. I feel like a dog turd that's been left out in the sun to dry.
This now? I have a busy week. My wife is coming home today for a week. We have a little trip planned. I have things to do.

Cool & damp here with rain forecast for tonight, thunderstorms tomorrow changing to snow/ice tomorrow night. :banghead: Where's my :censored: globalwarming?
TOTD: Turning off the :censored: furnace and opening the windows.
Is it Friday yet?

I'm sorry you feel like doo doo, Undies. Take care of yourself.

Worked Saturday, housework Sunday, coming in early tomorrow, probably staying late tonight. Such is life working up to outage.
TOTD: Nothing, becuase it'll be mud season. No yard work until probably early to mid-May. Other than that, open up some windows and let the house air out. I don't notice it, but it probably smells a bit stale after all winter.

Monday...is it pathetic that I actually look forward to Monday? It means I have some QUIET in my house!!
TOTD: We've had a couple nice days sporadically thrown in the past couple months that we could be outside, but I'm really looking forward to true spring when we get to watch the boys play baseball again! (Remind me of this sentiment after the first couple months, when I'm sick of bball 4-5 days a week!)

TOTD: I guess not running the heater and having my skin feel so dry. I like it when it's nice enough outside to just open a window for some fresh air. That and I'm looking forward to fruit!!!

TOTD: De-thatch the yard and get some serious Sun rays.

Another day, more classes. I'm ahead of schedule with most of my work, and I need to maintain that.
TOTD: Spending time outside, reading novels for my Literature class. :)

Today sucks!
I have to run statements this afternoon which takes 2 hours to print and sort. But first I have to have all checks entered in. So I'm working away because a big stack came in the mail Saturday. Then what happens in the middle of it, the electricity goes off to the building for an hour. :censored:
We have electricity now, but the computer system is f-ed up. :censored:
So here I am, with a big stack of checks to enter in, I still have to balance our parts/service departments from Friday and Saturday and I can't do shit.
I was hoping to start the statements by 4 pm, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. :censored:
TOTD: My house needs a good spring cleaning. This weekend though, I talked my dad into coming over and helping me with the yard. :)

Once the snow melts? Hitting the golf course. I've been craving a game of golf for 3 months now.

I realized yesterday morning that I have no hot water. UGH! B/F looked at it, pronounced it a gas water heater (duh!) and quickly backed away from it. He did however tell me that the pilot light was out and the insulation is soaking wet inside the heater. At least it's not pouring water out .. been there, done that. I called this morning to have a service man come out. It'll be tomorrow before they can come out. pppffffffttt ....

Gardening catalogs have been filling my mail box since the 1st of the year so I've had visions of beds, boxes, containers and gardens dancing through my head. Spring is life renewed!

Irked today, the school I am trying to get into wasn't open today! :banghead: So I got to wait till tomorrow. All the assholes were out driving today in MY way. :bird: ARGGGGGGG! :censored: :censored: :censored:
TOTD: I am looking forward to that first warm breeze though the screen window at night. The smell of fresh cut grass, the smell of the flowers and most of all, the sounds of kids playing when the sun goes down. The well-behaved ones, not the little bastards that scream at all hours.

I discerned the first signs of new life on the William Rivers Pitt today.
Of course, it's still in the 20s, with snow, in the Sandhills of Nebraska, but antique swine excrement is apparently "warmer" than the surrounding soil, and so stuff bursts forth into life earlier, and leaves later, than on the surrounding terrain.
