Why Does Political Correctness Only Apply To Dems, Liberals Or Progressives?....
Seriously - why is it that when Dems, Liberals or Progressives say something that might just be a little biting - they either are thrown out of their job, a meeting or are made to publicly apologize? And why is it when these RW hate mongers, apologists and talking heads say something really off the wall in terms of political correctness - nothing ever comes of it? I'm thinking of people like Glenn Beck, Rush, etc.
Seems like political correctness is one-sided now - how did this happen?

Not many responses and of course none that suggest political correctness has been the tool of choice from the left for the last 30 years.

You leftists invented the whole political correctness shtick and have been using it to tear down the right for decades.
How many times have I seen people on DU trying to get people on the right fired from their jobs because they heard something that offended their oh-so-tender sensibilities ?
Lets assume for the sake of argument that the right is using "political correctness" as a weapon in the same way the left has been - Turn about is fair play.

Why is it that a Republican who cheats on his wife, or e-mails pages, or waves his hand in a bathroom is instantly judged...and usually loses his office immediately or with the next election, yet a Democrat can engage in any sexual sin, and almost any financial sin, and be called "brave" and "progressive," and actually win more support?
For Democrats, empty political correctness is the entire moral code. Republicans, on the other hand, understand that the moral code God gave us includes the rights to free thought and free speech.

So- A republican get's caught with his pants down and is drummed out of political life as a hypocrit by the left, not to mention the crap he gets from the right and the Rep party, but a democrat gets caught doing the same thing, cries during his confession and it's ok...it's expected from a dem...
