Life is good: Just found out I do not qualify for tuition aid
AND did not do well on writing essay part of assessment test either....weird for someone who has been published but I do not do well taking tests.
Anyhoo...I can either drink over it or blow my or someone else's head off...lol. Guess I will scout around for some birthers to torment.

Wow, how could a published writer do so poorly on a writing test? I mean, a published writer, like, say...DUmmy Mythsaje? Oh, wait. Never mind.

1. Do you plan on pursuing this without the aid?

2. Can't afford it.
My credit is not that great because I filed bankruptcy 3 years ago and one company refuses to be removed from my credit report.
Those fascists just won't give a deadbeat DUmmy a break.

7. I'm sure they were looking fore a very specific essay structure
that gets pounded into high school students. You could right fabulously well, but if you don't write in that specific essay structure you won't get marked well.
I think DUmmy ThomCat has hit the nail on the head, even if he is as puzzled by homonyms as the rest of the DUmp. DUmmy graywarrior cannot write as well as a high schooler...or, is it "right as well as a high schooler"? Damn homos!
We all know you can write well. They want to know how well you can follow rules.
Exactly. The whole problem is those fascist rules, like subject-verb, sentences, paragraphs, tenses and cases.

Thanks for that info, it helps....a lot.
DUmmy graywarrior has a unique way of saying she has no vocabulary and not a clue when it comes to grammar. But she's a published author nonetheless. That leads us to ask who paid the publisher? It's clear that DUmmy Raven paid to have Pitt's incredibly turgid, bloated, boring work printed, and it appears DUmmy Mythsaje spent himself into destitution with vanity payments. Most likely, DUmmy graywarrior's bankruptcy is connected in some way to paying a vanity publisher for an excessive print run.

11. My dear gray!
...
You. Can. Do. This.
DUmmy CaliforniaPeggy, better known by her TV name of Coach Lou Holtz, demonstrates the Pittian sentence structure, which mayh have saved DUmmy graywarrior on the writing test. The Pittian style, rich in periods and capitals, may only be used by the cool kids at the DUmp.

17. I must have missed other posts about this, Graywarrior...
I'm sorry about the tuition aid...That sucks!
Honestly, I'm not surprised that you did not do well on the assessment test essay, for two reasons.
First, you are a published writer. You have developed your own style; and as renowned authors have demonstrated countless times, personal style is not always copacetic with academia.
Second, it was a test. It seems like most tests these days are poorly devised and poorly written.
I'm not sure what you're going for, Graywarrior; but I DO know that you are an exceptionally intelligent, articulate woman. I'm certain that you can achieve whatever you wish.
DUmmy gray warrior has leaned a tough lesson. A vanity publisher does not care how awful your writing may be. For bucks you get books.
Someone grading a writing test is a different breed of cat.

OK, so I'd flunk the essay ? I'm not trying to screw anyone out of an education.

OMG someone needs to get Gaywarrior into the Guard or Reserve to be able to jump on board the free education freight train just about to leave the station. I am sure "Don't ask, Don't tell" can be applied to those pesky age, height, weight requirements, or any other 'abnormality' a motivated, patriotic dummy might posses. After all, "wahr" is now cool again, send them dump hounds to Afghanistan!! :fuelfire:

Unless I have it confused with someone else graywarrior is a 60s vintage hippy woman who looks the burned out part.
Guessing must be close to 60 years old so nothing but a waste of resourses giving her financial aid for such a thing.

Like healthcare for the elderly, what's the economic point of the Government bankrolling advanced education for them, hmmmmmmmmm?
