Freshman Congressman physically assaulted
http://thinkprogress.org /

As lobbyist-run groups encourage conservative activists to “rattle” members of Congress at local town hall events, Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA), the president of the freshman Democratic class has revealed that “at least one freshman Democrat” has already been “physically assaulted at a local event” by right-wing activists. Connolly warned that conservative groups had taken things to a “dangerous level“.

So some unnamed socialist claims to have been assaulted at a "local event"? Believe me folks, if a dem congressman were assaulted, unless it was in retribution by some little girl's father, it would be trumpeted day and night through every outlet of the MSM. This is a disinformation campaign by a socialist organization that sees its latest plan for socialized medicine falling into deep trouble.

DUmmy WeDidIt has reached the limits of his patience.

1. That's it, time to start rounding them up
If they go off in a meeting, arrest every damned one of them.

The only rounding up DUmmies do is when they try to convert grams of dope into ounces.

DUmmy CreekDog has discovered a new political movement:

2. Shouting people down and physical violence too? This is facism plain and simple.

Or maybe "facism" is a type of discrimination? DUmmies have already condemned "looksism", so maybe "facism" is a subset. Then I guess we'd also have to contend with "boobsism".

Why is it when the liberals were protesting, it was a grassroots, but when real Americans (  :-) ) protest, they are organized by corporations?

Either way, I'd rather be organized by an American corporation than some European based communist group like most of the anti-war protests were.

Franken Attacks Heckler!
Wise-cracking funnyman Al Franken yesterday body-slammed a demonstrator to the ground after the man tried to shout down Gov. Howard Dean.

Quote
Franken said he's not backing Dean but merely wanted to protect the right of people to speak freely. "I would have done it if he was a Dean supporter at a Kerry rally," he said.

Quote
The trouble started when several supporters of fringe presidential candidate Lyndon Larouche began shouting accusations at Dean.

Franken emerged from the crowd and charged one male protester, grabbing him with a bear hug from behind and slamming him onto the floor. "I was a wrestler so I used a wrestling move," Franken said.

In the 1920s and 30s in Germany there was massive political termoil. There were battles in the streets between nationalists, socialists, communists, and National Socialists. There were large blocks of ex-soldiers who felt that if they didn't take to the streets the country would fail. Armed as well as the military with machine-guns, rifles and armored cars, they fought against the anarchists and communists.

These soldiers came back after the end of the first world war thinking the government had failed them, and watched as their country slipped into socialism.

Fast forward 70 years. Our country is slipping into socialism while our elected government does everything it can to loose the war we had been winning.

Major economic crisis is being felt worldwide.

the country is at odds in almost a 50/50 split.

Googled "Rep. Gerry Connolly assaulted" and the only results are from various left wing sites just repeating the tale.
Nothing from any news source.

Good job, Carl, sir.

Great job, double-checking the primitives.

We all should do this more often, but being one of those who rarely does, I can't criticize.

If Rep. Connelly had really been attacked, he would be racing down the the local news stations who would in turn be breathlessly reporting it. Trust me.

"Anytime Baby". It worked for F-14 pilots and it fits the cowardice of the DUmmies. They only have balls online and even then not very big ones.

Last Tea Party I went to there were exactly TWO cops.  Both there to keep traffic moving.  When I went to the last anti war rally there were well over a hundred cops.  The last anti-citizen...er I mean immigaracion rally there were at least three hundred.  Same city, same place but the Tea Partyers were about half the size of the other crowds.

Yes, everyone was quite concerned with the Tea Party mobs.

It's actually disgusting the way the dems are handling this. Telling their own citizens to shut up, having citizens report on their neighbors. Eric at Redstate (http://www.redstate.com/erick/2009/08/05/john-cornyn-takes-on-obamas-flagwhitehousegov-program-but-wait-theres-more-with-the-ntia/) says Obama is collecting more than email addresses. Scary stuff!

Yes, everyone was quite concerned with the Tea Party mobs.

When I went to the one in Albany in April, there were three cops there.  One guy on a horse, who had to "fight off" all of the "protesters" who wanted to come up and pet the horse, and two beat cops.  No NYSP, but they could have been in plainclothes in amongst the crowd.  The only people of note I saw were two moonbats from my office, who were just there to see things; and my wife, who came down with her office (not moonbats).
