Title: Anyone seen these?
Post by: miskie on August 02, 2009, 09:40:58 AM

What this seems to be is either a well produced hoax, or a hand typed COLB copy from 1964, presumably for the divorce of Obama's parents. Either way, The birther movement just got interesting

That seems to be in remarkably good condition for how old it is...  My birth certificate shows a crapload more wear and tear then that does.

My grandfather's original WWII documents are in similar condition.  They've been stored in the leather folder the DOD issued them in and haven't been handled.  If that paper sat in a folder the entire time and nobody handled it, it would be in fairly good condition.  I've handled enouigh old paper (50-100 years old) when I worked in the records department at an insurance company... they hold up fairly well if left alone.

If it get into the hands of experts who use genuine testing, they will be able to determine if the components of the certificate (the paper and the ink) are correct to period or not. That wont confirm its not a hoax -- But it will confirm that either its genuine, or the hoaxer is skilled.

The questions are - Will it get tested ? -and- Are those who do so biased for or against Obama ?

I wouldn't want to be close to, in charge or know anything about the records of Obama's birth right now....it could be hazzardous to ones health.

Interesting that a lot of people at FR are reporting the site with the document as showing "possible danger" all of a sudden.  I was just at that site about two days ago, and nothing popped up like that.

Oh, yes. What can you say, the same bunch that couldn't verify the Rathergate fakes are looking into this right now. I'm not documentations expert by any means, but it looks a lot more authentic to me than that stupid COLB from Hawaii ever did and it's funny to see all the Obots foaming at the mouth about how "naive" you must be to give this the time of day.

Fake or real, doesn't make much difference, we won't be hearing much about this from the MSM.

I wonder if someone could go to Mombasa and look up the birth register... it does give page and line.  That would be corroboration at least.

Yeah, I'm not holding my breath on the govt there being able to produce anything to back it up. I'd love to see the MSM do something. Again, not holding my breath.

Obvious forgeries, rather, cooked up paperwork. Sad to say, Obama was born in Hawaii, raised by Frank Marshall Davis while abandoned by both of his genetic parents. Grannie worked very hard to get him into an expensive prep school, supported him there, and , I think the abandonment plus overcompensation by Grannie AND the Stay at home Grand Dad left him feeling hateful tward the nation that created him.

Appears that the Obama Kenyan Birth Certificate is a fraud.  :(

How do we know that the claimed original birth certificate isn't the phony one?

I wondered about that after one of the DUmmies posted a link to a blank template of it.
