Ford is on fire

52 week low 1.01 a share
Trading right now at 7.92 a share
To all you Obama nay sayers out there, instead of bashing Obama you should have been listening to him in regards to the direction he was going to take this nation. Ford might still be a good buy at 8 dollars a share.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Ford the only manufacturer that turned down the bail out?!

I don't have time to dig through this mess but ..... Didn't Ford turn down the money??

KC

I believe that they did.

They did. The worst they were was just treading water. Chrysler and GM were at the bottom. As for their success, maybe someone needs to remind the idiot that Ford is the one auto company of the big 3 NOT taken over by the government.

Ford took NO bailout money, Ford is still owned by the shareholders....

GM and Chrysler are downsizing and closing dealers, Ford is not....

I'm glad I own a Ford....

Not only that, but people are buying Fords and avoiding Gov't Motors in retaliation for the bailouts.  It's a teaparty protest purchase, DUmmass.

I saw an article which said that the government owns 8% of Chrysler, and 61% of GM.  My next vehicle will be either a Ford (and I've been a Mopar man all my life), or a Toyota.

I've never owned anything else. "Toots" on the other hand swears by Subaru, mostly 'cause of our Idaho winters. Matter of fact, I'm shopping for her another, as she got T_Boned Monday and the asshole totalled her last one! Least he has good insurance, (something I doubt the DUmmies know anything about), and they're pickin' up the tab on the rental.

I considered a Ford but I love the look of the Silverado. I found a 2007 Silverado crew cab with only 2000 miles for a really good price that I bought 3 mths ago. Looks like Rebel's just a different color and not a Z71 package.

Never been a Ford fan (owned a 1981 Escort, nuff said) but bought some Ford and GM stock last fall on a gamble with some play money.

You win some....you lose some. :p
