Maybe we should have a line item in the federal budget to fund a study to determine if having your head permanently wedged in your colon increases the risk for prostate or colon cancers...

You're right; there are so many variables we'd have to isolate, we'd need a bigger budget to do the study properly.

He's 65, give him his Social Security checks and medicaid card , send him home and let him tough it out like other seniors.

Various Rx's for pain, anti-nausea, antibiotics, etc.....$1500

Various CT scans, bone scans, other diagnostic fees....$4500
Various lab fees....$1000
Various other fees.....$3500

Subsequent exams, medication, etc....$7500

Total....$37500

Better yet...let him be the first person in the U.S. to get treatment under the universial care he and the other Libs want to force us to have.

2 hours of doctor's time....$150

Went through that several years ago, when my other half's father was ill. Even though he had a living will....it didn't cover what happened to him. The doctor talked to us for 2 hours....and we reached a decision. It will be 7 years ago next month. He was a month short of 83 and a very very dear man. It made my heart hurt to have to make that kind of decision.
