Yes....or rather, facilitated the process for two people very dear to me.

One into the Navy, the other into alcohol detox. Both were well on the way to destroying themselves ....and one would have been dead within weeks.

Still....you can only help someone who is willing to be helped....they are the ones who must do the work to "reform"....you can't do it for them. It took years for both to reach the point of accepting the help/advice.
