Time to boycott my local theaters....
Edited on Sat Jul-25-09 12:19 AM by Matt_in_STL
I went to the movies tonight (saw "Orphan" - not a bad movie) and, as always, made sure that I arrived in plenty of time to see the previews. As we sat and waited through all of the commercials that are now tacked on to the beginning, we were hit with a commercial for this "film":

Evidently, our local theater chain here in the St. Louis area (Wehrenberg) has decided to give this a single showing at all of their local theaters. Has anyone else seen this at your local theaters?
I can say that I will be sure to use a different movie chain in the future and will be sending a nice letter to this company.
On edit: For those who do not want to click the link (completely understandable) here are the highlights. The Heritage Foundation would like you to know that if North Korea decides tosend a missile our way, we have 33 minutes before it hits. The best way to deal with this, of course, is with a state-of-the-art SDI system. The preview was military/neo-con masturbation covering our ability to shoot missiles out of the sky. Also starring the Czechs and Margaret Thatcher, all saying how the world is counting on us.

6. To be honest, I don't want to click on your link.
Would you mind summarizing it in the OP?

10. Basically, it's an advert for SDI
We need missile defense to protect us from the crazies who are about to get their hands on ICBMs any minute now and put us only 33 minutes from CERTAIN DOOM. Reaganaut horrorshow porn, IOW
I don't know. Of course, Li'l Kim and the Norko crazies are funny, goofy little trolls, with officers wearing hats wider than their shoulders. But I still remember vividly how we laughed, when they first showed up, at the funny, goofy little cars form Honda. It was hilarious to suggest they could pose a threat to GM or Ford - they just made a bunch of riceburner motorbikes!

3. Wingers really, really, really miss the Cold War
and Godless Commies and Hippies and all that happy shit.
That film should be titled 26 Minutes. That's the time you actually have when the Preznit is a ****tard whose brain gets vaporlocked for 7 minutes when the country is attacked.
It is tragic that we don't miss godless commies and hippies. They currently hold majorities in two branches of our government.

15. If North Korea decides to send a missile our way...
We have 33 minutes before it falls harmlessly into the sea of Japan.
Only in Kim-Jong Il's fantasies can he hit the broad side of a barn with anything. Ask the Heritage Foundation how Kim's non-existent satellite is doing. It's supposed to be broadcasting "revolutionary music" from space, but everyone knows it's collecting mud on the ocean floor.

21. This is why netflix is so nice -
you hit the "menu" button, you don't even see the previews.
Are you going to contact the theater chain management and tell them why you're no longer one of their patrons?
I think you must. This is about the worst I've heard.............................
-
How dare they have to see something they disagree with. How terrible.

OK, here's a twist on a DUmmy question asked recently. If you live in a moonbat central city, such as, oh, I don't know... San Francisco... would you be willing to die in a nuclear attack, if it means all the moonbats in a twenty mile radius around you will get fried too? :evillaugh:

The answer is don't live near Moonbat City

Wow - Dummie Matt couldn't wait to get home and post this to dummieland.underground.
And just why do these dummies think that these corporations really care when they start on one of their letter writing campaigns? They've probably figured out by now that a letter from a moonbat is coming from one of society's leeches.

Just like Jabba-the-Moore was getting money from Berkshire Hathaway for his idiotic movies.
Freakin idiots.

And when a missile full of VX gas lands in downtown LA, I bet they'll be screaming their heads off about how not enough was done.
These people need to pull their heads out of their ass. I clearly remember when the Norks decided to launch a missile directly over Misawa AFB 11 years ago. This shit can happen, and if someone over their gets an itchy trigger finger, I highly doubt they'll even think twice about launching some of their missiles at US territory.

And the nice thing about a nuke is, you don't have to be real accurate to cause a heck of a lot of damage.
-
It's as I tell the moonbats down in Portsmouth--I don't fear the guy with 1000 nukes who has as much to lose as I do as I do the guy with one who thinks they have nothing to lose.

Or, the guy who thinks he has everything to gain by using said nuke.

All it would take for the crap to ge tout of hand would be for one of Dear Leaders toys to land in Seattle or San Fran and the Dems would be begging PRESBO to lauch a war.

Or to be put on a ship, and detonated in either harbor.
