Obama might think about replacing Reid and Pelosi...(aka the Dems are Gutless)
(Ok, I cooled down, so the title isnt as graphic as it was in my head a few moments ago)
Obama now officially owns "healthcare", the Afghan and Iraqi WarS {5000 US troops now killed in Iraq and Afghanistan}, and the shitty economy- after the failed rescue attempts of, for, and by the bankers.
If/when at least two of these sectors dont rebound (ie, we get free healthcare for less than we are spending now, all of our troops home, and an economy that sees less than 6% unemployment and an end to the housing slump) Obama will lose in 2012 if he has the nerve to run and the Dems will lose their OVERWHELMING MAJORITIES starting in 2010.
Obama might want to consider putting some hard core mutha ****as in "leadership" positions to ram through the fixes that this country needs. Blue Dogs, Corporate Whores, and DINO's are going to cost the Dems to lose the majority and quite possibly the wellbeing of the country. Repukes are going to have no trouble whatsoever likening a failed healthcare system, a failed economy (with the accompanying food riots and crime waves that will follow), and more dead soldiers to three very large anchors that will be tied to the Democrats' necks.
(pardon the blatant sexism of the following)
but it's time to Man Up or Shut The **** Up.

Teh Stupid is strong with that one. Getting rid of Nasty and Dingy would be the best thing they could do for us. They couldn't find anyone worse to serve there because they already have offices at the Whitte House.

I've got to disagree with the second sentence. Unless there's battier replacements (and I can think of a few in the House) directly in leadership positions that would ascend to the top dog, Nasty Pelosi and Dingy Harry Reid convert a bunch of moderates to our side every day. They need to stay right where they are.

Some months ago, there was some primitive--one of the "Andy" primitives, I forget which one--who thought Pa Kettle in the White House could fire Reid and Pelosi.
That the primitives are allowed to vote should send spine-tingling fear rippling up inside every decent and civilized person in America.

He doesn't have appointment powers, so he has no authority to reach his hand into another branch of government and replace its leaders because they don't do what he wants.
The last administration did that with the judiciary, remember? And it was illegal, so they say.
Of course, there is still some BS laced in with the common sense, but what do you expect from the DUmp?

You mean the Federal attorneys?
They serve "at the pleasure" of the President and can be replaced anytime the President pleases, for any reason.
Klinton replaced every one of them when he came into office.
