Obama CAVED tonight....
He was playing "Hopscotch" instead of "Chess".
It's a big bonfire, and apparently gets locked at the end--I dunno why, I haven't read that far down yet--and so only the Primitives of Prominence.
HOWEVER, remember that the Primitives of Prominence tend to favor Ma and Pa Kettle in the White House; it's the concerns of the unterprimitiven, the lowly faceless lynch mob, that get this stirred up, showing considerable unease about Ma and Pa Kettle.

This is what I got out of his presentation.
It sucked. Bigtime. Obama knew it sucked. So, to stop people from discussing how bad he blew selling heathcare to the masses, and everything that is wrong with Obamacare, he grabbed the Gates question, and answered it in such a way that nobody would be talking about anything else.
Obama intentionally detonated his own speech. Im sure of it.

Sir, I'm not sure if he intentionally blew the speech up, from what I've heard. I think that the sum total of the speech is that almost no one was convinced that this is a good idea. I think that quite a few more were convinced that this is a bad idea, as presented by the Dems.
Every day that it doesn't get done is a day too long for the Obamessiah.

Last night was the pilot for a new reality show...."How to be stupid on TV."
....and I was asleep by 9.

Normally, no. But the questions were pre-screened, and he had the ability to pick and choose who to call on. Why else would he close with such controversy by choosing to answer something entirely unrelated -- and poorly ? I really think he chose to detonate what turned into an unconvincing stutterfest. I suspect someone in another room whispered into his earpiece that the folks ain't buyin' it, as they were all turning their dials to the negative, so something had to be done.
And if he didn't choose to do so, perhaps he is nowhere near as smart as he and his minions give him credit for.

I think your last statement is true by double. But, Sean Hannity had an interesting observation yesterday on his radio show--the Obamessiah is becoming more shrill and less confident in his assertions. He said that the Obamessiah's body language gives him away.

Sean Hannity is a little late here.
franksolich noticed this quite a while ago and it's getting worse.
Pa Kettle's getting mighty shaky. I only hope he doesn't take the rest of us down with him.

He'll try.

The reason that he is becoming more shrill and shaky is that he is seeing his ability to take us down with him slipping away. He never had the best interests of this country in his heart. His interest lies in changing it to suit his view of Utopia.

He should turn to that bastion of Mental Health knowledge, otherwise known as the dump, for help. I'm sure they'll know which drugs he should use.

My problem is this; I watched the first time Dan Rather expostulated on the CBS Evening News as anchor, in early 1981, I believe. I watched his body language.
The first thing I said to others was, "The guy's a liar, one can't trust a word he says, and it's all betrayed there, in his body language and facial movements. The guy's a liar."
Well, it took 23.5 years.....
I surely hope it doesn't take people that long to understand Pa Kettle, and what he is.

It was very illuminating at points. For instance, in his jabber about the relative costs of healthcare in other Western nations (A comparison which ours lost, naturally), he didn't say a single word about the most glaring distinction, which is our lotto-like tort system. No other Western country allows the limitless recoveries and extended theories of liability which we do.

That's a good point, Tanker. Speaking of king zero, did you know that his total approval rating fell for the first time today to 49%? Index at -8. Details at http://www.rasmussenreports.com

And then someone posted the news at the DUmp. The DUmmies mostly went 'LALALALALA" covering their ears. Oh, it's Rasmussen, they sniffed. So, someone got a RCP avg, which includes even some moonbat polls, and it's 54%. Crickets.

Supposedly, Zogby has the same trends.
Wait a month or two.
