DUmmy husb2Sparkly, perched on the cellar toilet with a laptop balanced on his knees, started this thread wth one obvious purpose: to give DUmmies a place to screech vulgar insults at President George W. Bush. So he just asked them to describe the worst person in the baby boomer generation. It's common knowledge at the DUmp that W is the worst person who ever drew breath, so it's a simple assignment, right? Wrong. Over and over, DUmmies just can't follow instructions. I thought it funny how one DUmmy after another would venture an answer, only to be slapped down by another DUmmy for not following the rules:

Boomers ....... who can you think of to embody the most negative personage of your generation?
I posted a separate thread asking for the most positive person. This one is for the brigands and scoundrels and shit heads.
If you answer, please provide a general indication of your age. I'm in my early 60s.

Sparky, this is not a good time for me to debate with you over anything.
I got up this morning and my cat had barfed up a big hairball in my hair.
I managed get to my PC with a cup of coffee that tasted like ink/ and the dog crapped on the kitchen floor.
After all this I decided to ignore every thing and enjoy pulling a few tails, no can do my site kept closing down just at the point I was making my most remarkable zingers.
Darn Sparky what am I to do when I have no idea what Skins Island is. Do you have longitude and latitude for that island ?
Oh BTW. Maynard B. Krebs would be a long ago memory for us had he not gotten a job and taken people on a 3 houri tourer.

Well, there is some variation on dates but Generation Jones is usually considered born between '54 and '65.

I thought Boomers were born between 1946 and 1964, which would include the "Jones"....
What the heck do I know, I was born in 1958....
-
Oh, problem.
It seems the primitives who are following instructions are getting grief they don't deserve.
.....the most negative personage of your generation?
The sparkling husband primitive said "your," not "baby-boomer."
And so the primitive answering with personalities from prior to 1946 are correct, they're naming names born in the primitives' earlier generations.
I'm surprised the Rita Hayworth primitive, in naming who she thinks are the greatest scoundrels of her own generation, didn't mention Robert Leopold and Richard Loeb, or something like that.

Meh.. I don't really think it matters - people who are idiots and/or assholes are not bound by year of birth. At times I think Generation Jones was created so the former hippies could separate themselves from the boomers.

I never heard of "Generation Jones" until today....
Me neither.
Generally, I guess, "baby-boomers" were born 1946-1964, although the later ones had little in common with the earlier ones.

From the web site called the Baby Boomer HeadQuarters
We get a lot of requests asking for the names of famous baby boomers (in this case, people born between 1946 and 1964, inclusive). We're a little hesitant to post a listing. Frankly, some of our more famous peers embarrass us. But here it is, nonetheless, in more or less alphabetical order, including date of birth.
These are some of the notable -- both the famous and infamous. If it were up to us, John Hinckley, for instance, would be banned from the boomer generation. But... there he is. And yes, some on our list have already checked out.
And no, the list does not include the Fonz. Henry Winkler was born a year too early.
Our list does not include millions of boomers who are entrepreneurs creating jobs for everyone, dedicated teachers who are shaping the next generation, scientists and researchers who are making our lives better... and so on. But, here are some of the notable boomers. We surely are a diverse bunch!
