Well, now, sir, if you ever find anything interesting over there on that particular island, don't be shy about loading it up and bringing it here to the DUmpster.

Looks like they're listing the primitives who worship Dear Leader without question and will defend him regardless of what he does.  Even they realize these DUmmies are nothing but tools.  Now if they could only turn that keen eye on themselves.

So do I.  I know many here consider him to be different, and occasionally he does have a moment of clarity, but he's still a liberal, ergo he's a tool.

My, my.

How could they possibly miss the spoiled rich kid the grazing primitive, the "jgraz" primitive, who hounded and harassed and humiliated and mocked and ridiculed and tormented and Hated the cboy4 primitive?

If I were making a list of the rabid 0bamaites on Skins's island, the grazing primitive would be one of the top three names.

What's always galled me about these posters is their complete lack of empathy.  Their refusal to listen to another side of a discussion. Their insistence that they're right and you're wrong.  Their complete inability to realize how screwed up they are.

They're primitives.  If not for the bonfires, the dancing, and fooling themselves in believing they're the only island on the planet, they'd have to actually look in the mirror and realize they're nobodys.  Glad to see a bunch of kook libs recognize these Hussein cultists to be the sheep they've always been.

I'm afraid it isn't - that site is mostly comprised of those who were booted from DU as too radical or too divisive for Skin's sanitarium. They are the worst of the worst, the nastiest, moonbattiest primitives alive. Where Skin's island is lush and green with enough coconuts to feed its inhabitants, and enough natural resources to house the primitives and allow them to build elaborate bonfires, PI is a rocky outcropping far off the shore with a couple of shrubs for cover. These primitives live on dead fish that float ashore, all bloated and rotten and stinking from decay, and they build their huts and fires from whatever broken, waterlogged, wood floats over as well - mostly refuse from Skin's island.

It makes the inhabitants unhappy. - They remember better times - bigger bonfires, fresh food, proper shelter, and realize how 'good they had it'. Then they gaze over their rocky home, and smell rotted fish and mold in the air--Then they gaze at each other and see their famished bellies, their mud covered faces, and scabby arms and legs from slipping on the moldy rocks beneath them. They see no one dances at their bonfires save for the same few they see day in and day out - They then sob quietly to themselves. Alas !

So, they vow revenge on their former home - to burn it to the ground. To leave the surviving inhabitants of DU nothing but rocks, burnt waterlogged timber, and dead fish. Such is the primitive way - to create equality by ruining life for everyone else, instead of doing the harder thing - working to improve their own lives and the lives of those they care for.

Thank you both - flash of inspiration and all that.. Though (obviously) the imagery is heavily borrowed from franksolich's own words and descriptions of Skin's Island. PI is just a small chapter in a much larger book.

I am quite happy that the metaphoric description was successful. I was afraid it wouldn't be clear.

It reminded me of archaeologist accounts I've read of the destruction of the Easter Islands.  Inter-tribal war, drought, and famine... pretty soon, there were few islanders left and the ones that survived degenerated into an extreme subsistence-level existence.

The Powerball jackpot for this coming Saturday evening is "$61,000,000", of which one gets circa $20,000,000 after all is said and done.

If I win, Freeper and miskie here go on the payroll of a production staff (which includes P-J Comix, Charles Henrickson, and Paul Heinzman) to create a musical comedy about the primitives on Skins's island, for Broadway and film.

Of course, madam.

When I win the Powerball, I'm going to make you a star.

Acting is tough, arduous work demanding much self-discipline and reliability.

That means none of the primitives could possibly play themselves; I would have to look around for decent and civilized people to play the primitives.

I could assist on the music bit as well, as I had Cowritten a Children's Musical while in college. I had written all the music for it - thirteen songs worth, and assorted short musical interludes for different characters.

Hey, as I'm now a cantor in my Catholic church, maybe I could do some singing.

I could bring a kick-ass soprano with us (my wife and daughter are the "us") to do some of the singing, too . . . The young woman that "mentored" me through my "training."  (No, there was nothing sexual there.)

No, not a good fit, sir.

There's only so much in the budget for pillows, and you'd need lots and lots of pillows.

The budget could be busted by the expenses for pillows.

I'm still thinking.  There's a thread about this, stickied to the top of this forum right now.

That part--obviously--I don't know anything about, but I'm trusting everyone else would.

P-J Comix: director
Freeper: creative writer
miskie: creative writer
Charles Henrickson: music
Paul Heinzman: editing
