As someone who has a Government "Q" clearance, I want to remind Major Cook about something:
 I work for a Navy contractor. I'm a civilian, but I have a clearance.

One of the questions you are asked when your clearance comes up for renewal every 5 years is:

"Have you ever belonged to an organization that advocates the violent overthrow of the United States Government?"

After reading the their threads since November 4th... and especially after the Honduras Coup, it is very easy to argue that being a donating member of FreeRepublic would mean that the answer to that question is "yes".

...and if you answer "yes" to that question, your clearance is revoked. If you answer "no" to that question, and the FBI investigator assigned to your clearance later determines that you lied, your clearance is revoked and you could be criminally charged.

Major Cook... you're lucky you held your clearance this long. Now that you've joined a frivolous suit against the Commander-in-Chief, good luck ever having your clearance renewed.

first, what teh f uck is a 'Q' clearance?

second, where Cook is wrong about disobeying a deployment order, just as the leftist where when GWB was president, I didn't read about him calling for the violent overthrow of the US.

third, good thing I don't know your name. I see a tip being called in to the threat hotline.

Dear Demon Scheme.

The mission statement of Free Republic is pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-America, pro-patriotism.... Its kind of hard to be anti-american when your all that.... and a bag of chips

We need to find out this primitives real name and alert his/her/it's boss! I don't believe anyone posting at the DUmp should have any kind of security clearance!

Not to mention it's stupid to mention you have one.  I could hazard a guess about who has what clearances around here, but that isn't information you should confirm.

His Q clearance came with his 00 status.  I remember M saying something about that one, not to confuse his Q clearance with Q in the basement.

If someone who is a member of FreeRepublic has to answer yes to this question...then you better answer in the affirmative too chucklehead.

There's been so many calls for violent overthrows and direct threats at the POTUS from your site the Secret Service has paid David Allen a visit at the Du Pont Circle HQ more than one.

Perhaps YOUR security clearence should be pulled.

Surprisingly it's a real clearence:

Q clearance is a United States Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance equivalent to a United States Department of Defense Top Secret (TS) clearance and Critical Nuclear Weapon Design Information (CNWDI).[1] DOE clearances apply for access specifically relating to atomic or nuclear related materials ("Restricted Data" under the Atomic Energy Act of 1954). The clearance is issued to non-military personnel only.

And that nugget of knowledge also helps us narrow down where this moron works.

There's only a handful of places in the U.S. where he could be at.  Especially when it comes to dealing with Special Weapons.

You'd think that one of these days teh DUmmies would learn to shut their damn mouths.

True...if they didn't learn their lesson from LynnTheDem running afoul of the 4th ID HQ...they never will.

I wonder if the Division IMO still has their mole account at the DUmp?  The LTC handling that issue set one up to follow her and hubby around the DUmp.

Q clearances are typically compartmenalized TS clearances, typically used within DOE.  IOW, a lot of the guys at Los Alamos, Savanah River, INEL, etc., have Q clearances.  Basically, if they have one, chances are pretty friggin high they work with things that make big booms and mushroom clouds.

I'd guess it's considerably more likely propulsion than weapons, which GREATLY narrows down the locations.  The services tend to not have very many contractors involved in the special weapons business relative to the number they use in other stuff.

This nation is still a antion of laws (that Obumbler ignores) and not men.  Therefore legitimately questioning the status of the HNIC is not wanting to overthrow the government but supporting the government.

Remember when dissent was the highest form of patriotism?

It does get easier every day this year to see how Hitler came to power.

He's most likely a lackey at a nuke power plant.
Many of them have Q clearances.

Not a civilian one.  Nobody I know here has one.  Nor would they require it.  Nope--Q clearance is typically for weapons.

Actually, it doesn't surprise me.  I knew a lot of military engineering types from Naval Reactors, the aviation guys up at China Lake, et al.  A lot of them have no qualms whatsoever taking money from DoD, but they're still as moonbat as they come--think Noam Chomsky types.  Hypocrites to the core.

Damn, self-loathing Jews. That's messed up.
I think the last Chomsky tirade I bothered to watch (FSTV, I was keeping an "eye" on the nut cases) was nothing more than a spree of "isms" or anything that could end in "mony".

No, not Jewish, just that they have no problems taking money and contributing to the national security and then turning right around and bad-mouthing it.  More like a case of self-incrimination.  Whatever.

I know lots of guys out at Palo Verde that have them.

From Wiki:

Quote
Chomsky was born on the morning of December 7, 1928 to Jewish parents

Just clarifying.

Well, I'm gonna have to ask around because NOBODY I know at where I work (Seabrook) has one.
