Obumble threw out the first pitch :loser:
Here's hoping the NL pulls off a win tonight!

did he stand on the mound? was he afraid of the dirt?
did he have a security phalanx around him? a 200- member entourage? a dozen teleprompters?

I didn't know they played baseball in Kenya.
Now Joe Buck and McCarver are slobbering all over the commie.
What is it with baseball announcers? DUmmy flyarm's husband, and now these guys, whom I used to like.

I turned it off during that knob fest.

Of course I'm watching. :-)
0bama cheated on the opening pitch. Pujols was catching, and he wasn't behind home plate, he was straddling it. When Pujols saw the pitch was going to come up short, he moved his glove forward to catch it before it hit the dirt well in front of home plate.
The DUmmies are claiming it was a perfect strike. :whatever: I rewound the DVR to check it out for sure.

I noticed it about went into the dirt, but didn't notice what Pujols did. He should have let it bounce after Obama's slam of Pujols at the beginning of the game, with O's crack at Pujols about not winning the home run derby.

Agreed. Besides, St Louis looked beautiful in the network shots. It's been a nice time in STL, just wish that I could have gotten some tickets.

If you can CALL it a pitch. He throws like a girl.

I remember one of the first pitches of the 2001 WS. President Bush threw it. He had shown up at Yankee Stadium about an hour or so before the Stadium opened to the masses, to get some warming up in. The commentators (Buck and McCarver come to mind) mentioned that it was a strike. Yeah, it was a strike to some tall player like Adam Dunn (high strike), but if I had been called out on that pitch (it was not a looping one, IIRC), I would have been thrown out of the game for arguing the call.

Good view of Obama's pitch coming up short :evillaugh:
