Would you be willing to commit suicide if it would save the lives of 100 people?
100 strangers.
A better question "Would you be willing to sacrifice your life if it meant 100 lives could be saved?"
As usual the DUmmies answers are pretty craven.

5. Good question.
I don't think so. I have no faith that is strong enough to do something of that magnitude.
Now, if you asked if I would die for my kids or my family--to be sure. But my luck is that I would save 100 starkraving mad batshit freepers.

18. Nope.
As an atheist, I believe I only get to "go 'round" once. I'm going to hang on to life as long as I possibly can, because this is all there is.
The sole exception would be if it would save the lives of my wife and/or children.
But I'm selfish. Strangers' lives don't mean as much to me as my own does. I'm funny that way.

20. No.
Odds are that there'd be more than a handful of douchebags in that group of a hundred. I know myself well enough to know that my generosity doesn't extend that far.

34. No. Letting them expire would mean 100 less mouths to feed, 100 less
carbon footprints, and might even allow their wealth to be redistributed.
Given those realities, I believe that saving myself would be most beneficial to the population at large
and a weirdo

It's disturbing that a guy named "skypilot" would have this POV.

I have to admit, if that hundred people was two busloads of moonbats on their way to the KosKonvention, I'd be sorely tempted to

And this surprises you somehow?
When he said this...
If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.
...betcha didn't know that Samuel Adams was actually looking ahead to our day, and seeing the tepid masses of filthy, lazy DUmbasses when he said it.

Kill yourself so they can live?
Hell, I'm the one cutting the f'n brake lines.

So much for their "we really care about other people" lie.

No, I think he meant he would be sorely tempted to stand by and eat popcorn.
As someone else said above, I would risk my life, but I wouldn't outright kill myself, unless it was a wife or child at risk, of which I have none anyway.

What makes your own carbon footprint better cherokeepsychotic? Are you saying your own carbon emissions don't stink?
Everybody always wants somebody else to solve their problem.

BTW, this:

I'd buy the gas to cremate them if they were DUmmies. Otherwise, one life for a hundred? Pretty easy choice.

Picked right up on it. However, coming from BC, I figured that it was deliberate.
