Gave the little neighbor kid a BIG book of geography the book was bigger than 10x15
and very sturdy...kwel book I gave my daughter when she was young
I am having a yardsale and it was in the sale, but he is starting 1st grade and is just so darn cute
for an hour after he and his older brother sat in their yard and I could hear him asking brother
what city is that
what is that state
what does that symbol mean
As a history/Geography teacher, I smiled for a long time after that

I will bet any amount you want to cover that DUmmy greenbriar could not fill in the names of the fifty states on a blank map.
(Let alone the jug-eared Kenyan's fifty-seven states.)
And I would love to hear the version of history she "teaches".

Here, the greenbriar primitive had this old geography book she was either going to unload at her garage sale or toss into the trash, but because she gives it to a little kid, it's like it's some sort of great sacrifice that costs her something, and she deserves a pat on the back for being so charitable.

No, this was a really good geography book. Sturdy sucker. Bigger than 10X15.
Now this little ragamuffin neighbor kid knows all about Mozambique, and Tanganyika, and East Germany, and the U.S.S.R.. Just like DUmmy greenbriar's real students.
