BEULAH, Fla. — Investigators searched Friday for three men wanted for questioning about the Thursday night home-invasion deaths of the mother and father of 16 children.
The Escambia County Sheriff's Office said the men were driving a red full-size van when they were seen leaving the home of Byrd and Melanie Billings after the Escambia County couple were found shot to death in the bedroom of their home in Beulah, just west of Pensacola near the Alabama border.
Sgt. Ted Roy, a sheriff's office spokesman, said the men may have been involved in the slayings.
The couple were the parents of 16 children — 12 adopted....

What the heck are you saying here Airwolf, the death of a parent much less both parents cannot be replaced with a new home.
These kids are human, they are not pets that may have to get a new home.
Justice-no way---how will seeing the killers caught and tried, found guilty, sent to jail forever help the 8 children who were in the home when their Mommy and Daddy were killed.?
No one will be able to take in all 8 kids, they will be sent off hither and yon.
There are another 8 kids out there who were not at home at the time of the slaughter that have lost their Mom and Dad also.
18 lives have changed forever. the parents that are dead, and 16 children that are now orphans.
When a parent becomes ill and may die, it rips out the heart of their children, the idea that the sudden death of a parent or parents can by any way move 16 children into a loving home is --very weird.

**** you I lost my father last december.Don't preach to me about losing a parent. Those kids need someone to take care of them and they deserve to see thier parents killers in JAIL. IF thats to hard of a concept for ypu to grasp then maybe you should go back to WWWVeggieTales.com web site to post.

My condolences to you and family.
What the children need and what they will get are two sides of the coin.
What they need is justice; what they will get is years of being placed on stand by to testify at a trial that will be continued for months on end--perhaps years.
Courts are tricky, when and if caught, the scumbags may walk because of a miss placed word on a warrent .
A large number of these children are special needs kids, there may not be enough family members willing to raise any child much one with special needs.
In some cases the Death Penility is just too damn good for monsters like these.
Then there is the money aspect, as we all know this brings out the worse in the best and most loving familys.

PENSACOLA, Fla. — The adult daughter of a murdered Florida couple known for adopting 13 special needs children says she is moving into her parents' home to take care of the children.
Ashley Markham told the Pensacola News Journal that she and her husband plan to raise the children as their own. The 26-year-old says it was her mother's wish. A message was left by The Associated Press on Sunday with her attorney. ...
