Title: MoveOn.org attracts 30 people to Alabama protest

A group of about 30 people gathered on the sidewalk in front the Birmingham offices for Alabama's U.S. senators at noon Thursday, calling for health care reform and the creation of a new public plan to provide insurance.

The demonstration was one of many organized across the state and nation by MoveOn.org, a liberal activist organization.

"Medicare is one of the most effective socialized medicine systems in the world."

This is sarcasm, right? If not, it's one of the most ridiculous statements I have ever read by a liberal!

It probably got more press coverage than the 30,000 TEA partiers in Dallas on the 4th
