Title: Obama’s approval tanks in Ohio

A new Quinnipiac poll shows President Obama’s approval rating has dropped 13 points over the last two months in Ohio, a key battleground state with plenty of critical Congressional contests in 2010.

Obama now only holds a 49 percent approval rating, with 44 percent of voters disapproving. It’s his lowest approval rating in any Quinnipiac statewide poll taken since Obama’s inauguration. In May, Obama held a 62 percent approval rating in the Buckeye state.

Meanwhile, a 48 percent plurality of Ohio voters disapprove of the way Obama is handling the economy, with 46 percent approving. Two-thirds of Ohio voters are dissatisfied with the way things are going in the state.

"The economy in Ohio is as bad as anywhere in America. These numbers indicate that for the first time voters have decided that President Barack Obama bears some responsibility for their problems," said Quinnipiac pollster Peter Brown.

Rasmussen has him at 33% (http://www.conservativecave.com/index.php/topic,21935.msg322983.html#new).  And the DUmmies chided and hurled insults at "27-percenters"... it took them five or six years to come up with that one.

Dunno about that, Duke. He apparently had enough trouble reading TOTUS in Moscow that he misspoke his daughter's age, and he couldn't remember where he met Michelle.

I'd say Lord Zero is all washed up - well, at least in Ohio.

That "strongly disapprove" line is extrapolating to 50% by September.

It is only going to get worse because this fool does not know what he is doing. Cutting capital gains tax rates, cutting corporate taxes and individual taxes would stop the bleeding. Obama is going to do just the opposite and raise taxes on everyone. Obama's financial advisers are morons.

Kaptur needs to go down like the tax-sponging whore she is. Her vote was critical on Cap'n Trade and she was literally bought:

Quote
When House Democratic leaders were rounding up votes Friday for the massive climate-change bill, they paid special attention to their colleagues from Ohio who remained stubbornly undecided.

They finally secured the vote of one Ohioan, veteran Democratic Rep. Marcy Kaptur of Toledo, the old-fashioned way. They gave her what she wanted - a new federal power authority, similar to Washington state’s Bonneville Power Administration, stocked with up to $3.5 billion in taxpayer money available for lending to renewable energy and economic development projects in Ohio and other Midwestern states.

House Energy and Commerce Chairman Henry A. Waxman, California Democrat, included the Kaptur project in a 310-page amendment to the legislation unveiled at 3 a.m. Friday, just hours before the bill was to be debated on the House floor. The amendment was packed with other vote-getting provisions, both large and small, that had been sought by dozens of wavering Democrats.

Literally, without exaggeration they asked her what she wanted, she named her price and they said, "you got it."

And with only $3.5 BILLION of OUR money?
That woman is the most expensive whore in history.

That's the Washington way, MSB.

Votes have been bought and sold for a very long time now. This is nothing new.

Proven by one of them who is pushing for a SECOND and even larger NON-stimulus bill.

I missed this, what does this mean?

This Ohio poll stat doesn't surprise me.  Do you remember the pics of the 4/15 Cincinnati tea party?  That crowd was MASSIVE.  I wonder if ACORN had anything to do with the original win.  Several large cities, like Cleveland, Cinci, Columbus, Toledo, etc.  The heartland itself (where I was born) is solidly R country.

That was the % of people that maintained a very favorable opinion of Bush v2.0 throughout his term. The poo-flingers at DU used it as an expression of contempt for what they deemed as loyalty in spite of the "facts" as DUmmies saw them.

Maybe even faster than that:

Aaarghh, Sparky, you beat me to it!  Just look at that graph.  Incidentally, the generic congressional D vs. R graph looks very similar.

What will be disturbing is when Obomo's approval rating is at about 15% in 2012, and he wins Ohio anyway.

Only because the Dept. of ACORN will not be able to properly verify the resident status of the other 85% of the voters.

....which will cause the gummint to pass a bill giving free eye glasses to all minorities because they were unable to read tombstones. Poor eyesight can be the only reason they were unable to read the tombstones.

Oh, and also, GOP beats Dems 41-38 in the congressional generic poll.  About the same as last week, with Dems slipping 1 point.
