If you could rate the Obama Administration on a scale of one to ten (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x5999605)
with One being the best and ten being the worst, where would you currently place Obama. I am not talking about a popularity contest but actual governing.. I would rate him at four. The things he has gotten accomplished seem to me to benefit mostly the culprits that got us into our financial predicament and very little for the common folk. He has raised the Esteem of the USA in the eyes of most of the world and that is why my score is as high as it is. I know of no Promise he made campaigning that he has kept but I still have hope because he talks a good talk.
Odd rating scale, and Winterblues has even confused the DUmmies. :evillaugh:

Would like to see thing wrapping up in Iraq a little more quickly but understand the logistics involved. Glad to see US pullout of major cities.
I figured all along that health care would quickly become a quagmire.
Otherwise I'm fairly happy with his performance so far.

Better than a 10. But not by much. He hasn't done anything actually new in either war to judge by (which is actually to the good, enough to move him off the 10, where his campaign platform would have put him), but to the extent he 'Has increased our esteem abroad' it has been at the expense of sacrificing our own best interests for nothing in return, and an almost willful hostility to the governments of Western Europe that is going to end up queering relationships that have been built over the past half-century. Domestically, he hasn't managed to execute any truly horrible programs yet but is busy trying to, and I have the nagging feeling that most of the "Stimupork" is actually counterproductive not just in the long term but in a much more immediate way.

He has yet to deliver anything that serves to advance or protect my needs and interests. And he has fallen fall short of my desires on many issues. Health care. Telecom immunity. Iraq. Afghanistan. Torture prosecutions. The economic mess and corporate welfare. If 5 is average, then I'll give him a 7. A grade that will continue to decline if he fails to deliver anything that serves to advance or protect my interests.
Hope won't fill a hungry belly.
Well theres one thing I can agree with a DUmmie on, and its going to get a lot worse with the pretender named zero.
