A fool and their money... (http://cgi.ebay.com/GIBSON-LES-PAUL-REISSUE-FLAMETOP-85-STRUCK-BY-LIGHTNING_W0QQitemZ280364274949QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item4147035505&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A3|66%3A4|39%3A1|240%3A1307|301%3A0|293%3A4|294%3A200)
Here we have a 1985 Gibson Les Paul that was supposedly STRUCK BY LIGHTNING. The bids are up to over $1200.
Though I love Les Pauls, why would anyone pay anything for this guitar??

It's a shady deal. No strings attached.
-
I 'd be concerned of being burned, in a deal like that.
-
It's shocking what some fools will spend their money on.
-
I'm shocked that anyone would even want to pay for that what was once a guitar
-
Damn you, Thundley
-
Stop fretting about what is likely a harmless sale. But it's pretty clear that any buyer of this guitar will stick his neck out.

You've made a good case.

It does a body good knowing that.

It's easy when you are in tune with the subject.
Sooner or later, though, someone here will go a bridge too far.
-
Yeah, but does it go up to 11?
-
Obviously, this deal is striking the right chord with several bidders.

Yep. These puns have been stripped down to the g-string.

I wish we could H5 and BS people still. Now, I'll just have to pick and choose who I single out . . .

It does have free shipping! :evillaugh:
Are the parts worth anything?
I wonder if the guy included the guitar in his insurance claim with the damage to his house? (see ebay listing, for pics of house)
I wonder what his insurance adjuster would say if he seen this listing?
