More pranks in the workplace.
Some of you have been following my pranks of putting objects in the office break room refrigerator. Well, I've moved on to different things now.
I work in a government office that has many public visitors, so we have to be very conscious of closed doors, locks and other security matters.
Basically at every door where the public might be able to enter the employee area, a sliding sign in a bracket which says "security alert" is attached. I've been turning all these signs upside down all day today.
It's a small thing, but it amuses me, and will whip up management into a flying purple shitstorm.
Small things to amuse small minds.

1. Are there any doors that say "Authorized Personnel Only" ?
Because I've always wanted to put "Un-" before "Authorized"

6. No, unfortunately. When I was in the Army.....
We had a team Sergeant in my unit who made up official-looking badges that read "authorized person". Most guards and MPs thought they were real and actually meant something.

2. Several years ago, at the last law office I worked at
I used to take the ball out of the mouse at several desks in my area OR take the ball out and fold up some scotch tape to stick the ball to and then seal it back up. It was nice to sit there and here random "WTF" from folks as they returned to their desks. IT, of course, was never happy with me. Ahhh, the days of getting away with murder. Good days.

4. Even with an optical mouse, you can still do that prank with one of those tiny post-it notes over the sensor underneath. We used to do that to one of the other designers who always came in really early just so he could leave early. As he was a bit of an ignoramus redneck, he fell for it multiple times

3. Are you sure there aren't security cameras on the security doors?
Perhaps you should conceal your face, too.

5. Hell, with our budget, we're lucky to have doors.
So, no, no cameras. Not in the areas of the signs, anyway.
You know, many years ago, when franksolich worked at the Nebraska Department of Health, two times a month he was in charge of the coffee, kept by the office of the big honcho there.
Since the coffee was paid for by the hard-pressed taxpayers of Nebraska, to save some money, franksolich used to run the grounds in the percolator through three times.

Their pranks aren't any better than their bouncies. This is the kind of thing 4th graders do on April Fools day.

Anybody know who this asshat is? I'd like nothing better than to inform it's superiors of the shenanigans this asshat is pulling.

That is very unlikely, because:
I work in a government office
This guy is a dipshit, but in a government office, he may be the best worker they have.

Even Especially in a government office, I wouldn't toss around terms like "worker" so liberally...
