6. I found a dead one on my deck last year.
I had animal control pick it up to test it for rabies, but it was negative. I figure it must've killed itself by flying into the sliding glass door.
I just couldn't understand why none of the cats claimed it. It wasn't slimy with slobber. It was just laying there.
I really want to see one alive. Well, I see them all the time at dusk, but they're too fast to catch.
