Will we see different FAA rulings on the causes of jet crashes now that Obama is in Updated at 3:41 AM

It struck me as deeply suspicious that, under the former regime, "pilot error" was ALWAYS determined to be the cause. Like the fix was in in order to let the airlines off the hook on liability.
I wonder if an Obama-appointed FAA will start to issue different rulings on crashes?

Is this guy Ben's brother by any chance? :lmao:
Good grief now Bush used the FAA to cover up plane crashes :banghead:

5. No, because the FAA doesn't determine the causes of plane crashes.
The NTSB, a separate agency, does that. And pilot error usually is, and always has been, a major contributing cause of plane crashes. This isn't political.

6. Air crash investigations are done by the NTSB not the FAA. I have not seen indications of political
bias in them. Pilot error findings have been the norm since NTSB was founded. Nothing unique to the Bushies in that.
We might hope for some new rules about passenger rights, but that would be about it.
well damn that CT was shot right down before we could get more chuckles over it. :-)

QUERY: How does employee negligience absolve a company of civil liability?
If that were the case it makes one wonder why airlines worry about things like--say--pilot's licenses.

"Pilot Error" will now be referred to as "Pot Hole in the sky"......or "Deer" mishap.

You're an idiot, and there's nothing suspicious about that.
