Title: Suggestion for those writing congress...
Post by: 5412 on June 26, 2009, 11:38:35 PM
Hi,

I just sent the following email to Rush.  I will no longer call someone who I have absolutely no respect for "Senator".  He has not earned the title to be respected.  Please feel free to address the idiots who forgot they represent you as well with the same title.  Most of the employees who worked for me I could fire.  I am going to do my best to do that in the next election cycle.

regards,

Dear Rush,

I have emailed Senator Nelson of FL many times telling him how I feel on an issue only to receive a moveondot.org BS response from him telling me how HE feels.

From this point foreward all emails to him will say, DEAR GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE.  I think the term senator indicates some respect and I have none for him.  Perhaps he needs to be reminded who he works for a bit more often.

regards,

As you saw from my last missive to my current reprobate in the House of Lords, I feel under no compunction to use respectful tones when addressing love letters to any of my three congress-critters.  I usually have my wife proof-read any notes - just to keep outright profanity out of them, but that's as far as that goes.  I at least want my messages READ by the staff chimps before they hit File 13, and profanity would usually get filtered by the software, I'm sure.

Hi,

I have progressed to profanity but direct it at the party or the piece of @#%& legislation, never directly toward the government employee.  I did tell him to clean out his desk because he is gonna lose his job.
