Title: My Dipstick Senator wrote me an e-mail...
Post by: Chris_ on June 26, 2009, 09:12:07 PM
Just got an e-mail from one of my useless 'Rat Senators - Michael Bennett (D-CO) - trying to rah-rah his constituents into supporting ObamaCare - "health care reform without breaking the bank", as he called it.

To which I replied the following:
Quote
Mr. Bennett –

Unlike you, I work for a living, so I have no time to parse words the way you do.  I am going to say this once, use small words so as not to tax your intellect, and then I’m going to get on with what little of my life my government hasn’t stolen or is conspiring to steal from me at gunpoint.

If you EVER vote in favor of any single-payer “health care” plan in which that single payer is the Federal Government, I will make it my mission in life to see that you are never elected to public office – in any capacity – again.  I will campaign against you, I will raise money and donate time for any and every challenger to face you, I will lead protests at your rallies; in short I will be your ever-present shadow until you fade back into the “civilian” sector in ignominy.  You do not have enough union and ACORN thugs behind you to keep me from being a very public albatross around your neck, should you cross me in this.

I hope, as your constituent and employer, I have made my position on the subject clear.

I don't expect the message to get through that thick 'rat skull, but my voice has - once again - been added to the pile.

Good letter, D6.

Not that he'll actually get it, of course. His minions will see to it that that particular letter hits the shredder quicker than Obama can say "I'm a Christian."

Hi,

Great letter, I doubt he will personally see it but they more than likely keep a tally on for and against any particular piece of legislation.  You likely earned a checkmark in the against column.

Now as far as representative government goes, that is a different story. They could care less how those who hired them feel.

Actually, I wrote my moonbat a while back telling her that if she was so interested in single-payer, why isn't SHE going to be on that plan?

Haven't written my Senator about this.  It'll be falling on deaf ears anyways.  I did send him an email last night about the Cap and Trade bill he'll be voting on.

If any state should be against it, it should be Michigan.  I'm just hoping Levin will actually vote with his constituents in mind...

It's becoming clear that my Dipstick Senator - Michael Bennett (D-CO) - is aware his seat is up for re-election next November.  I got another e-mail from him today on the "national health care crisis"; more rah-rah shit, as well as a link for me to follow, so that I could listen to the twit's voice blather on about health care on NPR.

Being the kind of guy who hates to see idiots hit by cars when they play in traffic, I sent the following reply:
Quote
Mr. Bennett –

I’m going to assume – for the moment – that your intentions are pure with regards to wanting to “fix” this health care mess, and that it is your feeble politician’s intellect that is betraying you with a lack of intelligent ideas on how to implement it.

The US Health Care system is in the position it is in because “well-meaning” idiot politicians have been trying to fix it since the Harry Truman administration.  The results have been predictable – to anybody but a politician, I guess.

As I have a difficult time determining where exactly the “interstate commerce” enters a relationship between a local doctor, an in-state insurance company (they have to be incorporated in each state in which they do business), and a patient, I suggest that Congress has no business even attempting to regulate health care at all.  In fact, about the only avenue of “reform” open to Congress in this area – as determined by the restrictions placed upon you by the US Constitution – is to reform tort law to a “loser pays” system, in order to get the doctors out from under the damoclian threat of malicious lawsuits.  THAT alone, would bring down medical costs tremendously, if you were truly interested in “reforming” the US Medical industry.

And that ALONE, is all you are authorized by my voice to support with your vote, should you wish to remain in any elected office beyond the next election cycle.

Another fine letter, D6.   :cheersmate:

If only the idiot would actually READ the friggin' thing instead of lumping you in with the moonbats and thinking that you're drooling over every word that escapes around his mouth-breathing lips.

I'm guessing Senator (can I call you that, dipshit?) Bennett's lips were moving as he read the letter as well.

Why are you getting letters from this Democrat? Can't you have yourself taken off the list?

I'm getting letters from the Democrat, because he is my senator, and - Democrat or Republican - I communicate my political will and desires with my elected representation.  I was communicating with Senator Salazar before he was inducted into Lord Øbama's cabinet of shame, and that's where I assume Senator Bennett got my e-mail address from.
