So, you CAN filibuster in the House. Boehner is using his leader privileges to drone on forever.
He was yielded *4 minutes*, which in the House, is substantial, to speak on ACES.
He has now been speaking for *35 MINUTES*.
He's trying to get people to leave for the weekend on a close vote.
HAHAHAHA!!!!!

12. Energy efficient and location efficient mortgages?
Requirements that all new buildings have a plug for electric vehicles?
Sorry, it sounds like there is a lot of bullshit in this bill.

14. Now how bothersome is that really?
A plug? NO. Not a plug! The bill must really suck!

16. tip of the iceberg
If you are listening to what he is saying, and if you ever plan on owning anything larger than a computer, this is going to cost you a lot of money.
I'll bet the primitives are pressing the "alert" button through the wall by now.

17. I noticed you didn't say anything about the mortgages.

15. Because I am.
And whether I like Boehner or not (and I don't) has nothing to do with what he is saying.
He's right. This is bad legislation.

4. Hehe, he looks pretty spry, unfortunately.
And I believe he's reading the entire 1,500 pages.
He just read one page 3 times.
No it just seems that way, listening to the same legalese bullshit over and over and over...

Yeah, that might burn.
My deal is, I'm becoming a snob about the primitives.
Unless it's a Primitive of Prominence, I'm not really paying attention to it.
<<my bad.
-
it is true that this primitive is never really noticed, I have been scouting for new talent, especially with the demise of the entire Gay Police.
-
Wow, response 15 shut that bonfire down, doused it, put it out.
-
This, from the second bonfire miskie mentioned, where the same primitive appears to have shut it down.

2. The presiding woman was funny though when Waxman was whining about time
waxman: "Can you tell me the actual amount of time Representative Boehner was permitted?"
floor lackey whispers up to the woman presiding
presiding woman : "The gentleman was allowed the usual amount of time."
One wonders who the woman was who was presiding. Bela Pelosi's probably flying around in her superjet this evening.

Cap N Trade is a hate crime

Even some folks at the DUmp understand what is happening with that bill???
It has to be the worst (for now) POS legislation ever written.

It won't be for long, look for the health care "reform" to surpass it.

Sorrry Frank I just wanted to add that to be more accurate to Nasty Pelosi's character.

My thoughts on these fires:
1) Whose mole is imdjh? And what prompted the suicide run?
2) If this imdjh is not a mole, can we invite them here, since they obviously have some common sense, and therefore, potential to learn?

Yep. I didn't think they had it in them to write anything more stupid than that last comprehensive immigration bill they tried to pass. Much like the DUmp monkeys they seem to be have hit the bottom of the barrel, kicked it out of the way, and brought in the heavy digging equipment where the barrel stood.

4. I enjoyed it and learned from it
Like most wandering fools I like to assume that the Democrats are doing the right thing. What Boehner was reading to us was not "the right thing", it was a boatload of bullshit traveling under the veil of stewardship.
Who is this DUmmy?

It seems that they are using them as Christmas wish of socialism and far left bs.
They hope enough will slip through that eventually they will get it all.
