The whole thing is just so weird to the point of being unbelievable.  None of it makes any sense whatsoever and doesn't even approach being understandable.  It's like the Bigfoot or UFO abduction of political scandals.

At any rate, at least he is out of the 2012 race now instead of getting the nomination and then all this stuff coming out.

I think that this is the best thing to come of it.  I was actually looking at Sanford as a viable nominee.  I guess that Rick Perry gets thrust to the forefront now, alongside Sarah Palin.
