DALLAS â€“ It's probably safe to say that you have arrived as a politician when your audience applauds when you blow your nose.

Yes, just a day before a debate in Texas, Sen. Barack Obama has a head cold.

And about a half-hour into a speech here, the Illinois Democrat announced that he had to take a quick break. "Gotta blow my nose here for a second," Obama said.

Out came a Kleenex (or perhaps it was a hankie), and he wiped his nose.

The near-capacity audience at the Reunion Arena, which his campaign said totaled 17,000, broke out in a slightly awkward applause.

And these aren't just regular people we're talkng about here. We're talking mind-nubbed Robots. The shit I'm seeing from his supporters just scares the piss out of me... these people are going to be running the country in the next few months (hopefully not).... and the only thing that's missing is a dozen of them carrying him on a golden throne through the streets with a couple lemmings using palm leaves to cool Barackath Obamath down.

Post by: Lord Undies on February 21, 2008, 12:06:34 PM: I was in Dallas yesterday. Reunion Arena is off to the southwest of Downtown near the I-45/35/30 Mixmaster. Obama had traffic tied up.

I know Dallas. Half the people who attended were there just to be seen, satisfy their curiosity, feed their narcissistic need to not be left out of something, and to be able to say they were there.
