My Veterans for Obama bumper sticker was the cause of umbrage taken by a group of bikers today. I'm removing it. We all need to be careful just now, with the increase in panic-driven violence by certain right-wing nutcases.

Anyhow, I was on my way to the local farm store to buy some birdseed in my Volvo. It's a nice day here, which brings out the motorcyclists on their "rides." A group of middle-aged guys on Harleys came up at a traffic light. I could see a couple of them pointing at the back of my car as I waited for the light to change.

When it did, they boxed me in on the road, yelling and making obscene gestures. I took the left exit to the farm store and they went on down the road.

Now, this wasn't a biker gang. It was a bunch of wannabe bikers, compensating for their low testosterone levels. Generic "colors," flags on the sissy bars, and that sort of thing. But, it's more than a little troublesome. They're going to ride somewhere, drink a bunch of beer at some bar a few miles away and ride back. This morning, they were sober. Drunken idiots are more of a problem.

So, I'm taking the stickers off. I don't have time for this nonsense.

Be careful out there, folks.

*****. :loser:

Someone just watched "Wild Hogs" and decided to use that for the basis of their little story to join the howling minions of oppressed and endangered. :whatever:

I giggled at that too.  Why not just have a huge I AM A ***** tattooed on his forehead?

Odds are he had a low tire or his gas tank left open, and they were trying to alert him to a problem.   :whatever:  But, by all means, he can take the stupid sticker off.  That will increase the resale value of the car, anyway.

I liked these frills as well, and the part when he specifies he took the left turn. As usual.

This has become a good size bonfire with Doug's ex-wife as a prominent player.  I enjoy seeing them rabidly going after one another with cries of "coward".

Looks like the old Conversion Bouncies are out and the new Attacked By A Pack Of Wild Conservatives Bouncies are in. Look for tales of how they pulled some Steven Segal move and stood the Rethuglican on his head, to the applause of approving onlookers, no doubt.

But it would still reek of bong water, stale cheetos and Patchouli.

I ran into some DUmmies last night in Vegas....

I was going to rent a movie to watch, but ended up taking a long nap. Spent two days at Woodstock, Vegas style.

Me, too.  Driving to the farm store with their Volvo and their attitude....

(The attitude is mandatory with a Volvo.  In California, you have to get the attitude surgically implanted when you buy a Volvo.  It's a state law....)

He/she/it was probably more concerned about all the leather (i.e., dead cows) passing he/she/it on the highway than anything the bikers were doing, real or otherwise....

More like the dummie was sitting outside their local dealers squat and a motorcycle drove past, causing them to spill their skinny soy latte in their lap. Luckily their manhood was of insufficient size to be exposed to the scalding hot liquid. The liquid did however congeal in a pool on the floor of their rusty old volvo - in the process ruining forever several classic dummie poems.

And then a cop jumped out of the bushes...

"An incident on the highway today". For the DUmmies every single day brings some sort of alleged incident. Life is a highway and theirs is bumpy. You'd think Zero would do some repaving. I guess he's too busy giving out ponies.

Hm-m-m-m

My guess is: the OP is a hippy that got drafted but was too scared to run to Canada but nonetheless probably served out his tour as a pogue typist. Still, he gots him a DD214 and he won't hesitate to wave it in your face because most other vets have to swallow their own bile when the name "Obama" is spoken in their presence.

But these acts of defiance only go so far, as has been demonstrated. It's best/easier/safer to drive off without making eye contact with the brutes and sheepishly remove the bumper sticker while grousing about how the brutes have to compensate for their diminshed male self-image.

Knowing the DUmmies, anything that is red, white, and blue would be "generic" colors....

The colors that all generic DUmmies hate, including their hero, Zero....
