ABC News is a lot like those entertainment and gossip sites. Well, that could be said about most of the legacy media. It is just as bad as DU.
Letterman's comment was a vile,vulgar attack on a child. It must take a great deal of haterd to justify this a just a bad joke, thus acceptable. It must take even more hatred to laugh as if this is funny because it happened to a child of someone that holds a different political opinion. Hatred exists equally on both sides of the political aisle. If we can't conquer the hatred, we will truely deserve the outcome it will produce.

It is a sign of polarised american politics and media that your media ignores the jokes Letterman made about Obama's children.The right's constant neverending faux outrage which incites hate amongst the weak minded needs to be reigned in. Many people in your country have lost perspective and the fair mindedness americans are famous for.And before someone jumps on a "foreigner" for making comments, ask yourself if you commented on a story about a foreign country recently. The answer is yes, and therefore, don't lecture. Try to listen for a change. You know, the type of listening americans want other countries to do.

It doesn't matter if he said something about her 14 year old, or her 19 year old. Sarah has every reason to fell the outrage she does. Say what you will about her, but leave her children alone, they have no choice in the matter. The joke was 6 seconds,and he apologized.Palin happily paraded Bristol around with her idiot boyfriend,last summer.Now this narcissistic hypocrite is riding this political wave for ALL IT'S WORTH. Maybe she should start educating the other 2 daughter on how NOT to get pregnant ! Go home Sarah, glaciers are melting,the tundra is thawing at an alarming rate,and native Americans in Alaska are having a awful time!

David Letterman is a national treasure for lampooning Sarah Palin and her brood. My interest in his show has only been revitalized by his comments and Palin's absurd assertions about Letterman's intentions. She is a media-#### and a disgrace to all women. How un-American can you get? Just look to Palin to find out.
