Title: Obama's multinational tax policy could have an opposite effect
Post by: tiredconservative on June 09, 2009, 07:38:43 PM: Typically, people think that increasing taxes on companies that export jobs overseas will force them to bring jobs back. However, as Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer put it, it will have the opposite effect. It it just me or does Obama's economists not see that?

I skimmed the article he linked to, and it was a rehash of news articles combined into one. He does have some valid points though. Steve Ballmer has said Mickesoft will move people and jobs overseas. Several of the big tech companies are banding together to lobby against 0bama's tax grab.
