Fat people causing climate change, says Sir Jonathan Porritt

Echoing the famous slogan "fat is a feminist issue", Sir Jonathan, Chair of the Sustainable Development Commission, said "fat is a climate change issue".

He pointed out overweight people eat more protein-rich food such as beef or lamb, which is responsible for producing greenhouse gases because of the toxic methane livestock emits. He also said obese people are more likely to use cars rather than walk or cycle, therefore producing more carbon emissions.

I suggest rich titled people produce more greenhouse gases, including with their genocidal bloviating.

Anybody know if the Hannah primitive's fat?  Given her comment, I imagine she is.

The fat's on the fire; it's--predictably--an enormous bonfire.

15. Hopefully they'll take on men with mustaches next.

Then they'll have the trifecta of "people who unnerved me when I was a small child."

The steely primitive, who got stuck with a 50-year supply of garlic bulbs:

70. I'm an overweight smoker with a mustache, and I have no intention of being taken peacefuly.

Okay, the first primitive comments set the tone for the rest of the bonfire, and so now I'll quote only the Primitives of Prominence.

33. protein-rich diets? ...hardly

overweight people often are POOR people who cannot afford "protein-rich" foods. They are stuck with High-Carb, High-Fat diets devoid of much nutrition, but loaded with calories. Couple that fact with unsafe neighborhoods for millions of them, and the lack of exercise comes into the mix as well. Add a dose of clinical depression , and you have it ..

Global warming may factor in when you consider the junk that the FACTORIES that are producing the glut of non-food foods, dump into the atmosphere/water supply/soil.

Ooops, those are the only Primitives of Prominence; most of the bonfire's about genociding fat people.

Oh here we go with the poor people can't afford protein rich food--you mean like:

    * Milk
    * Soy Milk
    * Eggs
    * Cheese
    * Yogurt
    * Peanut Butter
    * Lean Meats, Fish, and Poultry
    * Beans, Tofu, Lentils, and other Legumes
    * Grains, including bread and pasta
    * Nuts and Seeds

Last I checked a shitload of those are covered by WIC vouchers for those who have children and one can certainly get a protein rich diet even if one leaves the most expensive of those out:Soy Milk, Meats, Nuts/Seeds, Tofu.

Milk and Eggs have all been back down in price in my area. I have about 6 dozen eggs in the fridge that I got for .98 a dozen and I just got a gallon of milk at Aldi's for 1.69 a gallon. Peanut butter for the medium sized jar has been as low as 1.00 at Kroger in recent weeks(I invested a whole 6 bucks and stocked up--we still have peanut butter in there from that), Cheese has also been in the 1.00 to 1.67 range for bars, shredded, and slices. Beans are inexpensive and make a lot for one bag. Grains have also been on sale.

Everything I've listed has been far cheaper then the 2.00 a bag doritos or the 2.50 frozen food crap. I call bullshit..once again, but they'll continue with the screed.

The "They" you speak of is your beloved leftist government goose steppers in Congress and the Big ZERO in the White House.
They will NEVER stop and as long as YOU allow them to control what you drive, where you live, what you wear AND, your medical care, they control EVERYTHING. Therefore, if they want to dump you fat ****ers on the trash heap out back because you have that special relationship with the Twinkie Monster, your chances of access to REAL health care are as big of a ZERO as the big ZERO in the White House.
You voted for those pricks, you can now die prematurely for it.

Its amazing that these tools are not getting it. They control your banks.They control your house loan. They own the big three car makers. If you haven't figured it out yet it's because your stupid ass never will. Once they own all of that and your health care your ass is basically owned by the likes of Nasty Pelosi and Fatass Ted Kennedy. HArdly the kind of people YOU want to tell you how to live and breath while they sit on their asses raking in a shitload of money .
