The Obama Administration argued Monday that no court, including the Supreme Court, has the authority to hear a challenge by Indiana benefit plans to the role the U.S. Treasury played in the Chrysler rescue, including the use of “bailout†(TARP) funds. The Indiana debt holders, U.S. Solicitor General Elena Kagan wrote, simply have no right to raise that issue, thus putting it out of the reach of the courts.
The government’s brief opposing a plea to delay the Chrysler sale can be downloaded here. The main case at the Court is Indiana State Police Pension Trust, et al., v. Chrysler LLC (application 08A1096). (The other filings in the Chrysler proceeding before the Court, and this blog’s weekend coverage, can be found at this link.)

WTF? The USSC has no standing in a legal matter? The whole Chrysler bankruptcy case is a joke and should be stopped just on the basis that it violates current laws in regards to the "secured debt holders' getting screwed. Dear Leader and his thugs are making every other administration look virtuous in comparison.

The White House claim is bullshit. TARP was created by LAW. That puts in squarely inside the courts. This is Banana Republic stuff. Obama has to be removed from office. The hubris of absurdity is getting too deep.

Interesting approach. Wrong and stupid, but interesting.

Obama might have let his mouth overload his ass because political critters do not like another branch of government stomping on their turf. His alligator mouth may have tipped the court against him.
Heard on Fox that Judge Ginsburg lowered the boom on Obama. The Chrysler deal is off the table for now. Suck it up oh magic one.

Expand on this....I wanna hear.

And yet...matters of war are somehow still within the Court's reach?? :mental:

It is just a 24 hour stay but Judge Napoleoni (sp) on Fox said he did not think she would have done that unless she had consulted with the other judges and that they are going to take this case up. This is a violation of contract law under the Constitution and that the bondholders are getting the shaft.

It clearly is, but if that weird woman can see it, this must be serious stuff. Maybe Obozo has seen his end.

US citizens who have US contractual rights have no legal standing but foreign jihadists trying to overthrow the US do have legal rights?
Congratulations people, your president has declared you to be lower than war criminals when opposing his policies.

9. Shows arrogant, haughty, patronizing, or contemptuous behaviors or attitudes
Everyone has some Narcissistic traits, and a certain amount of Narcissism is a necessary and healthy thing. What’s different about the personality disorder is that the symptoms are prominent and persistent over time and pervade every aspect of the person’s existence. It can be very disabling in extreme cases; and in others those who have this personality can make the people around them thoroughly miserable, since some narcissists can be manipulative, predatory and completely lacking in empathy. Narcissists are notoriously spiteful and vicious and usually alienate anyone close to them.

from day one it has been clear that we have a dangerous narcissist in Obama, and every day he proves it correct.
