From kxmc.com (http://www.kxmc.com/News/386720.asp):
Snow falls in western ND, in June
Bismarck, N.D. (AP) Snow has fallen in Dickinson in June, the first time in nearly 60 years the city has seen snow past May.
National Weather Service meteorologist Janine Vining in Bismarck says there were unofficial reports of a couple of inches of snow in Dickinson on Saturday.
Vining says snow in North Dakota in June is uncommon, though it's not unheard of. She says other parts of the state have seen June snow within the past 10 years.
Williston and Bismarck had received only rain as of mid-Saturday, but Vining said snow was possible in those cities later in the day.

Be very careful what you ask for, especially when it comes to that "free healthcare".

It snowed in Helena MT on Monday.
Anyone else notice the ABSENCE of members of the "global warming chicken little society", ranting about GLOBAL WARMING?
They were shouting [howling] at the moon about oh how there would be an increase in the number and an increase the severity of hurricanes following Katrina. Funny thing is, the years since Katrina have seen a DECLINE in the number of hurricanes and a REDUCTION in the severity of those hurricanes.
al-gore was saying that global warming would cause the polar ice caps would melt causing coastal areas to flood. Hmmmmmmm, I must have missed something because I haven't seen a single BREAKING NEWS story that the coastal areas were flooding. Strange how scientists are saying that the ice at the south pole is actually getting THICKER - how could that be?

I've noticed the same thing. Here it's been 15 degrees below normal (avg temp) for 2 weeks........total silence from the Climate nutz.
If I remember correctly.....(I might be wrong) the theory is that hurricanes help shed heat from the oceans..........naturally, as they always have.

Mid-50's this week. Maybe up to 60 today. I almost had to run the heater the other day when the house temp got down to 62 degrees.
Was at Sam's Club yesterday. This is the time of year when it's almost impossible to find new air conditioner window units, yet there they were, all in their untouched glory.
