The Network has also received many requests from women who received care from Dr. Tiller and from activists in the reproductive justice community to set up a Fund in Dr. Tiller’s name. In response, we have established the George Tiller Memorial Abortion Fund to assist the women to whom George Tiller dedicated his life. The Fund will assist women in the second trimester to pay for abortion care, as well as pay for travel and lodging en route to providers. To donate to the Fund in Dr. Tiller’s name, please send contributions to:

On the plus side, since it will be run by air-head Liberals, we can pretty well count on three quarters of it going for "Administrative expenses" and a lot of the rest just being stolen by those who know an easy mark when they see one.

JohnnyReb, yes that phrase jumped out at me as well. Combine that with the word "activists" and you get the complete, sordid picture. Another one that jars me is "abortion care."

I know a lot of pro-choice advocates dislike Obama’s “common ground†rhetoric, but I’ve actually thought it was quite strategically smart. After all, the “common ground†position is abortion reduction through contraception, poverty alleviation, and increased gender equality — the pro-choice position, in a nutshell. It is irritating to see that position re-packaged and sold as new, but if it works, I’m fine with it. It also puts anti-choicers on the defensive, and it makes them explain why they’re opposed to all the things that have been proven to decrease the abortion rate. The anti-choice position is centered solely and wholely on making abortion illegal; they have no other tenable plan for making abortion less common. So I like the “common ground†argument, because it puts them in a position of refusing all common-sense solutions.
No mention of adoption? That seem very common sense to me.

Wineslob, probably the same people who considered killing GROWN UPS in the middle of a WAR as a despicable, inhumane act, but if a doctor does it as a medical procedure in his office and it's an INFANT then he is a hero. What amazes me about the feminazis is even though they might be pro-choice, basic humane obligations would dictate that it is terribly vile of a person to be proud that this as their profession: Tiller was proud of his work. I would think for even the mos liberal among us, that would be distasteful at the very least. I've actually considered that Tiller was a psychopath who enjoyed killing like any other serial killer: however he was able to kill legitimately under federal law. You'd think given his glee with which he did this would at least set this bunch up for pause, no matter how strongly they feel about the legality of abortion.

HEY DUMMIES !!! I'm all pro-choice here......it's the timing I've got a problem with.
The "choice" should be made before the man gets in the womans pants.....not several months down the road when a defenseless innocent is fighting you, the man and the doctor for it's life.......3 on 1 at fair even in a DUmmie fight.
