Fresh bonfire just sparking up. Should be interesting to watch.

Will it blow up into an inferno? Or will it founder in the Atlantic?

12. the EU economy wasn't that screwed up
so stimuluses have been lower. The readings here are completely different. The European socialist parties och which equivalents don't exist in the US have lost because they cannot present an alternative any longer except hollow marxistic rethorics. They are more and more replaced by the Green and Centrists. There are of course differences due to the countries different political histories, but if Sarkozy, Merkel etc.. are the big winners, it's because they combine stimulus with regulation.

The US stimulus spending is going to fail because the government doesn't dare to regulate. Besides the US stimulus is made of printed paper to the difference from the Euro. But it doesn't mean that stimulus in itself is wrong. It was originally a Brown-Merkel-Sarkozy idea that won support at the G20 due to Europe's surge in the interregnum Bush-Obama.

Conservative parties like the UMP in France or the CDU in Germany stand to the left of the US mainstream Democrats in questions like healthcare, pensions, military expenditures etc... and "government" in general.

This one obviously pays little attention to reality and just makes things up.  The Euro is just paper currency like the dollar, the problem it has is that the European Central Bank has different taskings than our Federal Reserve.  The Reserve is the more steady of the two.  The European economy has also been a mess longer than the US economy, with indicators showing the recession actually started in Europe not the US.  The European method of regulation has repeatedly been shown to strangle economic growth, and it will do that this time as well.

10. 'conservatives' cannot be reactionary rightwingers
and the reactionary rightwing has stolen the term 'conservative' (meaning maintain status quo as much as possible) to radically reaarange western societies. And they did it intentionally. It was therefore criminal (the dishonesty necessary to pretend the reactionaries were 'conservatives' left holes so huge in the story that entire economies were defenseless from organised theft rings) The term 'conservative' should always be clearly identified as reactionary rightwing, like bismark or leopold of belgium, cecil roads, hitler regan bush etc, or rightwing radicalism will continue to steal everybody's wages

Good Grief!!!!!!!! Get a brain STUPID!!!!!!!

Who is stealing the wage of American people? It's you DemonRats, who think you can solve the country's problems by "stealing our wages"! Worse yet, you are stealing the income from those that pay our "wages" in order to make this country survive! Keep going, idiot, sooner or later this shit is going to catch up to you asshats, and we're going to have to kick your ass in order to feed ourselves!

The stupid that erupts from the DUmp, cannot be measured on the Richter scale!

The stupid that erupts from the DUmp, cannot be measured on the Richter scale!

You know, that's very interesting, sir.

When I think of the primitives, and Skins's island, and the rampant stupidity erupting from therein, the first thing that comes to mind is an exploding septic tank, bubbling and popping and splattering out excrement all over the place.

It's a sight I actually saw as a little lad, in New Jersey.  I dunno if "septic tank" is the proper word for what it was, given my rather young age at the time, but that it was a tank that dealt with the processing of used commode water, well, that was rather unmistakable, even to a six-year-old.

It was like a geyser, even.

I have no idea, but there you have it.

And so every time the primitives are especially stupid, that's the first image that pops into this mind.

The standard answer the primitves have been told to repeat is that the conservative's in Europe are more in line with the primitive Dem's in the USA and that the liberals in Europe are all to the left of Kucinich.  IOW even when Europe moves right, it's still left.  But they have to convince themselves of these things in order to maintain the lies they must believe.

I'm guessing not; due to differences in the culture and level of social benefits, being "Unemployed" in Europe is not directly comparable to being jobless in the US of A.  People can argue all day about which is the better path, but bottom line is the situations are not totally equivalent or comparable, and 10% unemployment there is NOTHING like 10% unemplyment here.
