Cheney more popular that Pelosi

Just when I start to think the US public has pulled their heads out of their collective asses, I see something like this.

"PRINCETON, NJ -- Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and former Vice President Dick Cheney have little in common politically, but they receive almost identical image ratings from the American public. According to a May 29-31 Gallup Poll, 37% of Americans have a favorable view of Cheney and 34% have a favorable view of Pelosi. Both Cheney and Pelosi are viewed unfavorably by at least half of Americans."

I think it's great that the US public is pulling their heads out of their asses.

2. thoughts

First, I have a hard time believing this poll.

It's so absurd.

Secondly.. However, I have noticed that the media has given Cheney and his daughter a LOT of time .. and that a nonstop attack was mounted against Pelosi.

Still.. I find that poll hard to believe.

I dread what's coming from freepers who will be gloating over this and mounting their hate campaign against Pelosi.

And it's not that I like Pelosi either. I don't.

But Cheney.. he's such a psychopathic, sneering asshole.. a LOT worse than Pelosi could ever dream of being.

I find it hard to believe too.  I can't believe 34% even know who nancy Pelosi is, much less have an opinion about her.

Speaking of polls, did you know that this morning Rasmussen reported, for the first time ever, the daily tracking poll for the messiah which shows his index at ZERO.  34% Strongly approve, 34% Strongly disapprove.  I've been waiting for this day!  He'd been hovering around 5 for the damnedest time. 

Note:  Sampling population is based on 40.1% D, 33.1% R, and 26.7% I, and the index above is a rolling 3 day average.

I'd venture to speculate, if these lazy pollsters would actually poll the same number on both sides of the political spectrum, Bamm Bamm would be in the toilet!!!!!!!!!

They should be cheering!!  With her popularity down, now is the time for them to call for her head on a platter, but they aren't.  Why they're allowing an opportunity like this to slip away is puzzling.  Maybe they didn't really mean it.
