DETROIT – A person briefed on the deal says General Motors Corp. will sell its Saturn brand to former race car driver and dealership chain owner Roger Penske.

Didn't Penske purchase Detroit Diesel and Allison Transmissions from GM a few years ago?
100 mpg diesel plus indestructable transmission = me likey.

Yes he did, and turned both companies around :cheersmate: because GM was just letting them waste away. :hammer:
Penske should buy GM, move the whole operation to Great Britain, and tell Zero to "go play with himself".... :bird:

I drive a 2002 Saturn SL sedan. Basic, reliable, gets 30+ mpg. I bemoaned the melding of the Saturn lines with those of GM, and said that I wouldn't buy another. Now that Roger Panske is buying the company . . . I may have to change that feeling. :hyper:
