This is brand-new; no primitives have shown up at the bonfire yet.

Help! Cleaning an oven
Ok, serious foodie situation. I'm cleaning out my parents' house, from top to bottom. For those that don't know, my Dad is in the VA hospital with MS, and my Mom is in the hospital with ALS. Anyway, since my Mom got really sick, the house has gone to hell (3 br, 2 bath, etc)
I'm home for the summer, and tasked with cleaning the house up. The kitchen is by far the worst. Just scary. The oven: I think it's never been cleaned, ever. Ever. When you cook in it, it releases a foul, bitter stench.
I need to clean it. It's not self-cleaning. I don't want to use heavy chemical stuff, at all. I'll use elbow grease. But, what do I use? Help!
And, it's not just the bottom, the sides too, I imagine.
I really dislike giving my first thought--that the home-wrecking bi-boobs primitive turn on the gas and jam the sniffing primitive's head into it, but never mind.
A rag soaked in ammonia, and just placed in there overnight, maybe a little bit longer, would probably do the trick.
Stupid primitives, always making life more difficult than it has to be.

I would recommend that she mix some bleach, vinegar, and ammonia into a large aluminum pan, and just before she puts it in the oven for the night spray some Easy-Off Oven Cleaner into the mix.

You know, when I was young, I used to mix bleach and ammonia for cleaning.
Having grown up around hospitals, I liked the idea of antiseptic, and thought this would be a good mix, getting rid of germs, and not just odor.
Nothing bad ever happened, but I guess it's not a good idea.
And of course, now that I have all these cats, I have to be more careful about mixing chemicals.

I'm confused. What happened to Sniffa?

Nothing that I'm aware of; as far as I know, the spineless wife-deserter is still shacking up with the brazen hussy, the bi-boobs primitive.

This is what confused me.

Seriously, the best solution is steam - If Bibabe can get her hands on a handheld electric steam cleaner, it'll be easy.

I've inadvertently mixed cleaning when I was younger, kind of thinking that if one works a little then two or three together will work better. It's not recommended.
On a side note, in boot camp we'd use regular Coke to clean the shower walls, it was good at removing soap scum.

If she doesn't know how to clean an oven, what else does she not know how to clean? :puke:

I hope to God the home-wrecking bi-boobs primitive doesn't have a dog or cat, if she has no idea how to keep places clean.
It reminds me of the maharani primitive, the "Lioness Pryanka" primitive, who mops her kitchen floor only when company is coming. All other times, she leaves the floor festering in dirt and squalor and filth and germs, for her pet cat to trod on.
I'll bet that poor cat's sick a lot.

Maybe it's under house arrest.

So when did all this Sniffa/Mrs. Sniffa/Bibaby stuff happen? Did they live close to each other?

Frank has told the story else where, but to shorten it up: they were a threesome shacking up .

I guess it's been about 2 years since the split. It was a strange split for DUmp standards. The guy/girl mated instead of the girl/girl.

the short short version  :-)
Guy Meets Girl.
Guy Dates Girl.
Guy And Girl Date Another Girl.
Guy Leaves Girl for Another Girl.

Spray it down with greased lightning and wipe the thing off with a scrubber.
She wouldn't know clean if it bit her. Have ya'll seen their place ? Poor cats.
I find her post strange. She's been cleaning her family's home for months now. How is it so filthy all of a sudden ? Then she complains her ex is there doing nothing.
Put 2 and 2 together and you have a lot of wasted time and a dirty house.
You hear that sniffa you nasty boy. The ex ain't stalking, he's hunting. :-)

Isn't that pretty much standard operating procedure for dummies?
