That's why I live in N.Idaho. Down around Boise, not so free, it's the bluest part of Idaho. Big city, go figure. More leaches on the backs of producers.

Not all of them.  Look at the top of the list.  But mark my words, it's going to hell quickly with a bunch of nitwit Dems in our state government.

Your state too, eh Sparky?

I was kinda shocked to see Colorado place "numero dos" on that list.  Don't worry though, we've got Governor Ritter here, to fix that.

Would have been cool if they had included net unemployment and net migration in their numbers.

Oregon vote more and more democratic as we got more and more immigrants from California.  Which probably is what is bending Oregon so blue these days.

Migration to NH is coming more and more from MA, but they're not the big reason this state is going more Dem.  People from VT and ME are also moving here, and as the native population ages, they want that "free" stuff like Medicare, etc.

Unemployment is significantly lower than the national and regional averages.  Even in a modest area like mine, it's still under 6 percent.  Last year, it was just above 3 percent.
