In case you haven't noticed, sir, look out your window.

It appears to be pleasant weather all across the you-ess-ay today.

So probably most are outdoors, enjoying it, instead of being on the internet.

We have thunder and lightning right now, but this afternoon was pretty nice.

A beer sounds really good right now. It's been over a year since I had one.

But my gut is still messed up from this flu, this is my 4th day off from work. Doctor finally signed off so I can return on Monday.

It's been heck.

 :lmao:

LL (my initials) "has a balanced diet...vodka in one hand, and coke in the other" is what my current FB status says. LOL

Oh, and I poured the "chocolate milk" down the sink, since people think so little of it around here.  :bird:

BTW, one of my FB friends is acting suspiciously like Crazy Horse, telling me not to spill the vodka.   :o :rotf:

Chris is always giving me a hard time about Bailey's, calling it alcoholic chocolate milk.  I find that to be a major slur. :p

That would be a crime, if it did. Ruins the purity of a good Irish liqueur.  :p  Just pour the Bailey's on the rocks, please.  :cheersmate:

I like Baily's but usually buy this instead.....

A bottle lasts me a long time, but is great for iced coffee or cold mixed drinks.

There is some good recipes on the website......

http://www.carolans.ie/default.asp

Cream-a-cino
Ingredients:
1oz. Carolans Irish Cream
1oz. SKYY Vanilla Vodka
2 Scoops of Chocolate Ice Cream
¼ cup of Iced Coffee
½ cup of Iced Cubes
Mix in blender until ice is crushed smooth. Serve in a 12oz. glass and enjoy.

Friday is almost always dead. :(  I got my JTR books (http://www.jagsthatrun.com/)... at least the author has a sense of humor.

"Trying to help people who are not qualified to repair their cars can drive a person crazy, which is why the author now requires therapy and medication.  The doctors have advised the author to not answer the phone."

I've never even heard of that brand.  I know my liquor store inside and out and have never seen it there.  :(

Next time I'm there, I'll ask about it.

One of these days, i'll work up the guts to do an Irish Car Bomb...  A friend of mine wants to film the whole thing and put it on YouTube...  :lmao:

Carolyn's is the "generic" alternative to Bailey's.  Tastes the same...really!

Wait...you're only going to do one Irish Car Bomb?  Save the YouTube for when you've had several. :-)

I knew a mechanic that worked at Auto Zone part time on the weekends (when he was not on Nat'l Guard Duty) and he will tell us about some of the questions...most people would ask a question, only wanting you to agree with them, rather then actually listening to what he had to say!

I get the same questions about people wanting stuff for their computers, but its not nearly as entertaining.

This book is extremely detailed... he did a very good job on it.  It was worth the $20 even if I never go through with the swap.  I want to get my Datsun to a mostly-restored condition before i even try this.  At least my parents have a three-car garage that they have let me use before.

Oh Lord.  I work with a bunch of young kids.  They were discussing drinking and hangovers.  Vomiting is nothing; waking up in odd places is where the fun is at.

I remember a few run-ins with MD 20/20 and an unfortunate mix of Very Old Barton and some sort of Schnappes, and there was that one time I spent the evening with some bad jug wine.  But I never lied to my boss and told them my son was killed so I could lay out of work for a week and drink myself into oblivion.

It is hot, hot, hot outside.  The damn state shut down I-24/40 downtown for the weekend... there was a horrendous traffic jam on I-65.  I spent more time sitting in my car than I did working on it. :censored:

I saw plenty of cars with busted radiators pulled over on the side of the road.
