Today 22 more people in my office will clean out their desks and go home. This is the "change" :censored: DUmmies voted for. Where's all that :censored: job-saving stimulus money Uncle Eg0???
-
That stinks, sorry.
-
That whomps.

That whomps.
Yes, it sure does, and there's likely to be more. I just hope I'm not on the next list. Everybody's nervous....makes it really hard to work.

Where does the bleeding stop? Or is Zerobummer content to drive us all into government servitude?
I know, I know--the latter.
Weather matches my mood right now...cold, damp, dreary. I welcomed the rain on Wednesday. I want the sun back.
I have the pager next week. No booze. Damn.

That does stink lug. My thoughts are with you.
-
Did they not get a gold Obama watch and free pony?
-
That sucks :( We've had several rounds of lay-offs, and now whenever I start noticing closed door meetings, I start feeling nervous :bawl:

I hate that lug. The only bright side to any of this is; The longer this continues the faster we get new REAL leadership in Washington. Someone who will step up to the plate and tell Americans that the spending will stop.

sorry to hear this, lug. Definitely can relate to the bit about it being difficult to work. :p

things aren't looking so well for my job, either. Rather than give more hours to the long-term, hard working employees, my employer would rather hire new people at the lowest possible wage and cut my hours so the newbies can have them. I am not amused. :hammer:
5 new cashiers and 5 new baggers... the old-timers will get maybe 15 hours a week, while the inexperienced newcomers get about 25-30...that is BS! :bird:

And yet that's how life go's............................bet the new people never spilled a Sam Adams :uhsure:

We've been busy at work... busy enough to get a bunch of overtime, but not busy enough to hire some new bodies.
Been here since 10am. I wanna go home.

They're too young for beer, so if they had any, they'd probably drop the remaining half after getting tipsy on the other half of the bottle. LOL Which would be more than I've ever spilled. :p

thing is, everyone is shedding jobs so quickly these days.
The bank where I worked has a policy of hire from within, and I am still considered "within" until January. But whenever I look at the internal job postings, there is so little there at such sucky wages (All that is open right now is part time teller jobs and commission jobs in the finance area) that I am pretty sure I am going to be still looking hard in December.

Change you can believe is gonna screw up this country!
