Californians: We have to stick together here!
There's a 100% likelihood that in the next few weeks we will be asked to make choices.
Do we want state parks or do we want universities?
Do we want public assistance for poor families or do we want reduced-cost HIV/AIDS treatment?
Do we want Medi-Cal for the elderly or do we want schoolteachers in the inner city?
Do we want to lose big in the environment, education, or social services?
Do we want to screw over GLBT people, the elderly, the young, the very poor, black people, white people, Hispanic people, or environmentalists?
How about choosing NONE of these things? How about NOT choosing to screw over ANYONE?
THIS IS THEIR PLAN TO DIVIDE US! DON'T FALL FOR IT!
We can't allow everyone to retreat to their special-interest corner and fight against all the other folks on the left.
We all have to stick together. If we do not present a united front, THEY WIN.
Who is gonna pay for all this DUmmie? California is broke cause of all the free shit you want.

The whole country is broke.
Still wondering who on Earth is going to buy $2 trillion in debt next fiscal year if we have a hard time selling the debt we already have
-
Here is another choice. Continue with all the programs, raise taxes thru the roof, and watch the tax payers leave faster than the coke at a hollywood party goes up noses. Then what ever is left of the california legislature will have to lower the minimum tax rate, and (gasp) everyone may have to pay a little bit. Everyone that is left that is.

This is great! Can we pick more than one?

all of the above?
"screw them over" means not giving them as much stuff?

Man, this reminds me of my first Thanksgiving in the socialist paradises of the workers and peasants with free medical care for all. Of course, Thanksgiving's not a holiday over there, but I had hitched up with an American lass from Long Island, and we wished to celebrate Thanksgiving.
Well, because of the socialist-caused shortages, there was to be no heat, no gas for cooking, no electricity, in that part of the country on our Thanksgiving Day.
The two of us had a long discussion about: if one could have just one thing, only one thing, merely one thing--heat, lights, cooking, or hot water--which would one choose?
Under socialism, people HAVE to make choices like this.
Just one thing, out of four things.
We both opted for hot water.
In case the primitives don't know this, there's gonna be a lot of hard choices one will have to make in this, the 0bamareich, choices like this.
So the primitives better think about this.
Is gay marriage more important than food-stamps?
For one example; there's a lot more.

Of course hot water is 2 things.. water plus a heating source

Not in the socialist paradises of the workers and peasants with free medical care for all.
It's pretty incredible, socialist plumbing.
Even Rube Goldberg couldn't have invented it.

I'm going to have to take my yacht on over to the island and check out if any of these dummies are angry that the messiah spent yet more taxpayer dollars to hobnob with the celebrity folk in Caleeefornya. I'll be back with my findings.

Not one word about using taxpayer dollars to visit except to talk about the protesters protesting the California supreme court's decision on Prop 8. I guess if they were actual taxpayers, they might be angry.

Oh I've seen something like that on TV. A city-wide hotwater system. dumb as a box of foxes

It's no problem, they could always raide the tax rate to 90% on everybody. Isn't that what DU always says is the cure for every ill?

Yes, that's the basic disconnect. All of the whining is coming from the parasites, not their hosts who are being bled white by actually paying for the benefits.

Do we want to screw over GLBT people
Just what is it about how you like to get your rocks off that demands public money of any sort?

State Parks are not dragging down the state but universities certainly do. I can almost gaurantee that Admin is being hired at the same time teachers are being given the pinkslip. How about getting rid of the phony Admin jobs first??
Do we want public assistance for poor families or do we want reduced-cost HIV/AIDS treatment?
Neither. I'm tired of seeing "poor" people being able to buy more food than I can with food stamps. The gay community has been warned about the AIDS/HIV "issue". If you can't stop the risky behavior, tough shit.
Do we want Medi-Cal for the elderly or do we want schoolteachers in the inner city?
No, no we don't. I want all the old people to hurry up and die :sarcasm: DUmmie, you better check your facts, the Teachers Union calls ANY reduction in their budget a cut. So you need to tell me, after all the TAXPAYER money we've been throwing at education, why is it still ef'ed up?
Do we want to lose big in the environment, education, or social services?

(above)
Now your'e just being redundantly redundant
How about choosing NONE of these things? How about NOT choosing to screw over ANYONE?

Tell ya what DUmbass, put on your ruby slippers, that's the only way my state will get out of this mess with your way of thinking.
