Title: Primitive #18 looking for new face

Hmmm.

Primitive #18, who managed to buy all that prime river-front property out in California during the "lousy" Bush economy; one wonders if he's going to build riverside homes for the homeless there:

WTF ever happened to Eric Cantor the "new face" of the republicon party?

For awhile this guy's face was everywhere on your TV, opining on everything. He was quoted on every possible topic. He was hailed as the new face of the party.

Then he called that goofy conference at some pizza joint with I think baby huey bush and the newt and said the gop was going to go on a "listening tour".

The next day pig boy rush called bullshit on that concept and stated the GOP needed to go on a teaching tour not listening. Then Cantor came on and said, of course he meant teaching.

Since then I haven't seen the goofy bastard anywhere. Is he no longer the face of the party? Where has he gone? Did limpballs have him whacked?

1. Maybe they figured out (like Jindal) that he sucks?

2. I was wondering that also...

For a while we only saw the "new faces" of the Republican Party -- now it's back to Newtie, Cheeney, etc. Maybe Cantor got a girlfriend. Oh wait, this is the Republican party we're talking about. That's okay for the "part of values" ala Newt, Rush, Vitter, et. al.

3. I think they're replacing all their "new faces" with Liz "Darth" Cheney.

She was on Faux this morning giving her opinion on political matters other than her criminal father.

4. think of it like republican survivor.... the people who tend to win in the end are the ones that keep their heads low and play behind the scenes until the end. maybe he's waiting for others to take each other out and be one of the last ones standing?? wouldn't it be funny.... put them all on an island like survivor where they have to do all these things and vote people off. see how ugly it could get. man, i would love to see all those manicured folks out in the wilderness trying to outwit outplay outlast.... while eating bugs and trying to start fires with sticks. hee hee.

7. Don't remember the details but I believe he got called out for critizing the Dem push for health reform, but wasn't able to offer one single idea that he has.

Regardless, the GOP old guard is reaping the fruits of promoting the best young parrots in the party. They were good at learning the conservative talking points, but now that the conversation is changing their learned responses don't match. It makes the GOP look even more out of touch.

8. Now that I think of it ... whatever happened to Joe the Dumber?

I guess he finally got the message his fifteen minutes have expired.

What's with the new numbering system?

What's with the new numbering system?

I was having problems keeping track of all of the primitives, and remembered that whenever Margaret Mead--in her notes, not her books or articles--had the same problem, she resorted to identifying primitives by number rather than by name.

True, there's only circa 5,000 primitives, but still, that's a lot of primitives to keep track of.

So I decided to assign numbers to primitives, to see if it works.

It might, or might not, work.

For reference:

Primitive #5 = the sparkling husband primitive, the "Stinky the Clown" primitive
Primitive #7 = the Rita Hayworth primitive, the "Tambourine LaBamba" primitive
Primitive #11 = the baby-talking warped primitive, the "Warpy" primitive
Primitive #18 = the "tularetom" primitive
Primitive #19 = the Bostonian Drunkard
Primitive #43 = the shadowy primitive, the "Shadow69" primitive
Primitive #47 = the legendary herb primitive, the "Mythsaje" primitive
Primitive #61 = the grouchy old primitive, the "NNN0LH1" primitive.

They're numbered according to how interesting they are.

It's not perfect, and it looks likely I'm going to ditch the numbering system, but I'm going to try it a little longer, because like sometimes with an automobile where the ignition refuses to turn over, and one is about ready to give up, the engine suddenly sputters to life.

I'm always experimenting.

edited to add the accidentally omitted Rita Hayworth primitive; sorry for the inconvenience

Yeah, Delilah's right.

There can be only one Primitive #1.

Towering above all the other primitives.

As for FGL's speculation, because of the old school tie and because my fellow alum has more brains than all the primitives put together, Skins is no primitive.

Skinner would be primitive #2.  Whoever is pulling the strings would be #1.
