Oh my.

The distinguished and principled former vice-president must have really struck some raw nerves.

Is anyone else in a funk because Cheney was all over the news today? I thought those creeps were gone, gone, gone. Yet one steps up and opens his mouth. And the lies and false narrative start one more time. This and I hear that Cheney and Bush's numbers are up (sorry I don't have a link) has me feeling like crap. Anyone else so sensitive to the neocons?

Yep.  According to the primitives' own television network, CNN, yesterday, Richard Cheney's popularity is soaring in recent polls.

One wonders why that is.

Doug's ex-wife is the first one up, but as usual says nothing of importance.

2. I am a pathetic optimist and I believe they are compelled to chatter excessively now because they are aware they have been exposed. they are arrogant and reckless now in desperation. Dick Cheney was never out front while he held office, it is not in his nature to talk to the "underlings" whom he despises. this schtick with his straight daughter who refers often to him as "daddy" is seriously laughable.

I find it entertaining in a wretched way. there is a black hole sucking them all in............

3. It's like we're seeing more of that human canker sore now than we did in the past 8 years.

No offense to canker sores

4. I think that it's pretty disgusting. We have a President. All the coverage of this asshole Cheney, is downright disrespectful IMO.

Oh! and what happened to the rule about not attacking a President during war time? That shit went out the window and the media covers Cheney like he's really saying something.

Uh, "Skins's island." does NOT = "whole country."

6. Me too, it just makes me sick

I am furious that the media is giving this creep so much airtime. I REALLY want him to go to jail now as I feel threatened by him again, as though 8 years was not enough.

10. Has anyone informed the jackass known as Cheney that he is NOT the vice president anymore?

And/or that it is supremely arrogant of him to have his ass in the NOW-PRESIDENT'S FACE like it is in view of that fact?

Someone needs to put him in his place - preferably a prison.

11. I'm delighted.

Every time he opens his pie hole, the Democratic Party gains voters.

I hope he's in the news every day for the next four years.

Oh, I dunno.

Unshaven Stevie-boy better check them polls.

In response to the thread title. The sun also rose the morning and water is wet.  :lmao:

Not a shot at you frank but, aimed at the primitives for being so predictable.

The left was attacking Bush 2 days after 9-11 well before the first boot hit the ground and the first shot fired and continues to this day.

Uh, what happened to it being "patriotic" to disagree with an administration? Hillary the toon, anybody?

This is a quandary for the primitives, and the primitives know it's a quandary.

The primitives wish we'd all march in lockstep with Pa Kettle in the White House.

When George Bush was in the White House, the primitives were patriotic in their disagreement with him.

Decent and civilized people didn't like what the primitives had to say.

However--and here's the big however--decent and civilized people at no time, ever, said the primitives should be shut up, silenced.

I dunno, Coach, there were plenty of times I would have liked to shove my fist in their face!

But you didn't, and therein lies the difference.

I've read conservative and Republican message boards since the granddaddy of them all, geared up in 1998.

All that reading, mountains and mountains of it, and at no time did I ever see it suggested that a president be assassinated, or that freedom of speech be squelched.

I challenge anyone--decent and civilized person, or primitive--to give me an example of that ever happening, on any mainstream conservative or Republican web-site.

There's a big difference between the primitives and us.

Err Amurica I mean air America was a good example. We mocked and made fun of them but at no time did we call for them to be shut down. Like they do with Rush, Hannity, etc.

But would it have been different if Air America was successful?  I doubt it, and we will never know.

The reality, facts, and history is we never had to worry about Air America.  We knew it would never be a threat.

The Little Goons, etc., do not have that luxury.

Well actually, MoveOn, DailyKos and the DUmp are somewhat successful, yet we do not call for them to be shut down. I'd like to kick the shit out of a few of their members, but I don't want, or call for, their shutdown.

The initial skirmish is very much like Lexington and Concord, the tax protests of April 15th was just the beginning. With the referendum on taxes in California passing by a tremendous margin against more taxes, the worm has started turning. You can sense that the American public is now engaged and momentum is starting to build. This is why former vice president Dick Cheney is very pertinent today. Contrast the two speeches yesterday by Obama and Cheney and ask yourself "Who do the terrorists fear the most?"........it is an an easy answer.

Dick Cheney is a true American. All you have to do is look at his overall body of work. Service in the US Congress and the US Senate, exemplary work in Bush Sr's Administration as Secretary of Defense, an exceptional Vice President for George W.

Dick Cheney is the voice of the American conscience. People have forgotten what happened on September 11th, 2001. He will hound the Obama Administration based on actual facts, not empathy. This is what the Democrats fear. This is why Pelosi  will not talk any more on the CIA lying to her. She knows that any "Truth Commission" would very well show implication of the Clinton Administration in not addressing the terror attacks of the 90's (WTC 1993, the embassy attacks in Africa, Khobar Towers, the USS Cole, the aspirin factory attack, the failure to take the Sudan's offer of OBL, and most importantly, the WMD's situation that the entire Clinton Administration beat loudly against Saddam.) These are hard facts you cannot change, or wish away.

I would not be surprised if Cheney's activity right now is a precursor to a Presidential run in 2012. This is what the Democrats fear the most. Cheney has documented chops. Cheney gets results. Sooner, rather than later, Obama will be held to account for what has transpired under his watch. It will not be pretty.

So conservatives, be of stout heart and good cheer, keep your powder dry, keep your friends close and your enemies closer and know that the day of reckoning is coming...............and Hell's coming with him! :evillaugh:

A tale of two speeches.

One given by a narcissistic, petulant, inexperienced teenager (how many times did TOTUS put the "I" word out?) and the other by a successful, rational, and reasoned elder statesman.

You bet the donks are scared of Cheney.

I will agree with you Frank

BUT

Maybe we could ,at least, look into a law that forbids them from breeding
