I guess Cheney could only tolerate the slander for so long before finally setting the record straight.

Manbearpig and Jimmuh pretty much killed that old tradition, and unlike the Bushes, Cheney is not the sort of guy to just shut up and take it (For which I am damned glad, I am sick of seeing the GOP fire blanks or 'Refuse to lower themselves to fight back' <- AND YES THAT MEANS YOU JOHN McCAIN and your fatass daughter too!).

It's also just good manners for an administration to not bash the previous one...unless a Republican was preceded by a Democrat. :whatever:
