About to go out and kill some grass. Woot!
Nice sunny day today. May see some rain later on.
Anything fun going on today?

Let me think for a minute...fun...nope...not yet. Just got done paying bills and balancing check books. :censored: :bird:
Tonight should be OK though...baseball game!

Waiting to hear whether or not I'm going to be needed at the poker room. Otherwise, gorgeous day in the upper 80's so far.
Traffic tomorrow is gonna SUCK!!! :bird:

Son of lug-nut is home from the college town. Still no job for him yet, but there is an interview next week.
Celebrating our wedding anniversary with dinner out tonight. :cheersmate:

Sitting here in a mostly empty apartment, sipping some peach tea and planning on going to bed early. I was running a fever this morning at work (felt fine going to work, but about an hour after I clocked in, I started to feel nauseated and weak (I felt like a zombie, mindlessly walking around, unable to really focus :( )... I'll call my doctor tomorrow.

Tonight alone,
I spend at home,
Tuned in to a vintage movie,
I have no choice,
I need a voice,
When I'm alone,
To sooth me.

A wedding anniversary is why I'm alone. My wife has gone to spend the night at our youngest daughter's house. She's sitting with the kids while my daughter and son-in-law go out to celebrate their 10th.
Tonight also marks the 15th anniversay of my wife's mother's death.

Since Monday, Mrs E and I have been on Hawaii's Big Island doin' the 10-year anniversary thing.
Today was a little more unusual than the rest have so far. We got to breathe a boatload of sulphuric dioxide fumes from Kileuea, one of the five volcanoes on the island.
The wind shifted and we got a few lungs full. Not fun, but the walk on the caldera was fascinating.
You haven't lived till you've looked at the inside of a still-smoldering volcano.
